This si one of the most reliable brands of USB pen that I have bought over a number of years. The pens are recognised immediately when plugged into both Apple and Windows computers. They have great reliability and I have never had one fail, even if removed abruptly from a device. They are good for long term data backup of both document and photographs. They come with an added program for protecting data inside ' protected' folders. The program itself is redundant now but will remain fully working without updates. Happy to recommend for Compatibility, readability, cost effectiveness and variety of colours.

This means transfers in both directions will be fast and noticeably more than USB 2.0 espcially on larger files. It will connect with all older USB 2.0 slots also. It connects and removes easily. * Tough build - Although offering no cap on the end, it seems to be very sturdy. Time has proven this to be true as it is my second purchase of one of these. * Colour - Just a personal preference of mine, but I like the sleek metal colour. Cons: * Warm termperatures - Some others have reported it grows hot with longer file transfers, but I haven't had any such issues. Summary: A simple no-nonsense USB FD stick.
