How do you use it please?

Wipe away any excess fluid from the corners of the animal's eyes. Carefully rinse the eyes with Vetericyn Plus Eye Care. You can use the Eye Wash twice daily. There is no need to rinse. In the event of an eye infection or chronic problems, you should always consult your veterinarian.

Is this safe for tortoises?

I would of thought so. Very kind to eyes. Not too strong. X

Are they antiinflammatory like Maxitrol?

No. This product isn't like Maxitrol. It doesn't contain any antibiotic or steroid.
