SPARES2GO Lower Change Over Hose + Short Valve for Dyson DC50 DC51 Vacuum Cleaner

The parts are a perfect fit to replace the worn out parts on our Dyson upright. The black hose does require some extra tools which i had to buy from my local Halfords, though these were discussed in an on-line tutorial on replacing the hose. It took about 20-30 minutes to remove and replace the hose which was well worth the effort as the pick-up power of the vacuum was so much better afterwards. For the money paid for the parts and the tools it was well worth the effort.

Great solution to broken parts on my DC50. Can immediately notice the difference in suction power after fitting both replacement parts. Easy to fit and seem very like for like to the original parts.

Ideal replacement for Dyson DC-50 hose. Fitted easily. Works well. Will buy again. Ordered this at the same time as a Dyson original hose. This was cheaper and arrived next day with Prime. The Dyson hose came 3 days later.

Where I got these installed, disappointed with the quality When replacing the red shirt hose the end of the hose which have to be align with then inserts were not aligned correctly. On investigation the hose wasn't thread far enough at both end. The hose was glued slightly at both end, but with a small amount of effort I was able to thread both ends more tightly to align the connector correctly. The part could also do with a replacement gasket as it would be good to replace at the same time. The black hose also had some issues. One end has a 'rubber' seal. This wouldn't stay on the hose and kept moving around and falling off. My original part's seal was still in good condition so I swapped these around. I will see how long these last, but starting to wish that I waited for the genuine parts to be back in stock.

These are non-genuine parts and tolerances are terrible. Some holes in the plastic are too tight compared to original part. The red hose connector is attached to the hose at wrong angle and makes it unnecessarily hard to install the replacement hose. Note the different angles of the left connectors. Top is the replacement part, bottom one is the original genuine Dyson part.

Great buy! My Dyson lost suction and I thought it was done for, but these parts fixed the problem. Very fiddly to put them in though, I suggest you go on you tube and watch how it’s done.

Ich habe diesen Artikel als Ersatzteil für unseren Dyson DC51 gekauft, da das Original Material von Werk aus nach langer Zeit defekt war. Diese Ersatzteile passen. Die Qualität ist gut verarbeitet. Die ersten Testversuche liefen auch prima. Zu der Haltbarkeit kann ich noch keine Angaben machen.

Great product. Good price. Follow the you tube video on how to fit. Took about 1/2 hour. Vacuum works great again. Cheaper than buying a new Dyson!!!
