If I’d have made my purchase based on the reviews only for this product I might well have not brought these scissors. I’m glad to say I took the plunge and feel I made the right choice in doing so. Let’s cut through the scissor snobbery here. These scissors are not pretending to be anything their not. The product description is very accurate as to the quality of the goods your buying. These are not trying to be a top end model or something their not. If you want a better finish than these scissors afford you, then look elsewhere. These scissors punch above their weight without a doubt for the price you pay. Could they be better finished quality wise? perhaps but not at this price. Do they cut? Yes they do. The pair I received were and are in good order and I can heonestly say there’s nothing wrong with them. I just think some folks expectations are set too high for what they’ve paid. No rusty screws or nuts or rough edges. These scissors work well in my hands when doing a self cut and I’m really impressed with them both. They fit my male fingers perfectly. They seemed quite small in general size length wise at first but, this was soon dispelled with as in use having a nice assured feel to them, the scissors size proved to be right. I think a lot of issue’s I’ve read in previous poor reviews are more about user error in technique and excessive disproportional expectations. Delivered ahead of schedule with free standard delivery, it’s difficult to fault this product. I’d comfortably recommend these pair of hair & thinning scissors.

I wondered why the price was reasonable, they are small if you have larger hands then these wont fit your fingers in, blade is only about a few inches. Metal looks like cheap, moulded scissors. They do cut hair just! I wish i had just bought an expensive pair as i can't see these lasting very long. Look cheaply put together, would i buy again, no very disappointed.

The scissors are usable, however they come very stiff so may need oil etc. they also don’t have the best finish, but what do you expect for the price.

Scissors themselves are okay, but very small space for your fingers. Okay if you are very skinny, which I am not.

Thinning scissors work well, plain ones very stiff and a bit difficult to use, they were. Cheap, but did the job during Lock down. You only get what you pay for!

I bought these scissors as barber shops were closed during lockdown. My girlfriend was about to use them on me, I was about to be her guinea pig, but at the end she decided to use a machine that a friend has. Despite we didn’t use them, they look thick and easy to use. I gave them a 5 stars to don’t ruin their score but the scissors are still brand new at the drawer.
