Perlegear Full Motion TV Wall Mount for 42–86 inch TVs up to 132 lbs

Installation was straight-forward and easy to complete with absolutely NO issues from start to finish. Just finished mounting a 65" LG television (about 40 pounds) to this wall mount. Took my time, followed the instructions (crisp/clear diagrams), and ended up with a fabulous installation with respect to appearance, ease of use, and functionality. I had considered items that were at least twice the price of the Perlegear Full Motion TV Wall Mount before making this purchase. I feared the Perlegar Mount might not be as well engineered and manufactured than those that were more expensive. My fears were COMPLETELY WRONG as the Perlegear Mount is ROCK SOLID and has been well manufactured. This mount was attached to wood studs on a 16" center - the template provided with the Perlegear Mount provided an easy to use drill pattern that precisely fit the actual mount. Be sure to have a good quality stud finder...I used the JAXWQ Stud Finder (https://a.co/d/7E7luN4) and it was absolutely precise (and easy to use). In addition to the quality of the mount, the accompanying hardware was equally impressive. No shortcuts on quality/sturdiness on this purchase. The mount is easy to use, provides a smooth glide from one position to another, and provides an infinite ability to adjust the screen to the "just right" position. I positioned the mount to place the center of the TV screen 60" above the floor and ran the wires from the TV along the outside of the mount to the wall and down in a tight bundle that sits behind our center speaker - no wires to be seen from the front. In my view, I could have spent more than double the cost of the Perlegear Mount and gained nothing of significance. This is a FIVE (5) Star product and an EXCEPTIONAL value. We are happy with this TV mount. I put a 75" samsung TV on it. When you pull it out to turn it toward kitchen it does seem a little funny as the top leans forward further out than the bottom. I suppose we could pull out the bottom. With this size TV, it works and the installer thought it was stable, though he did say with any big TV it is kind of scary. We did not have any problems with directions or fitting TV like the last mount we bought we had to return because it did not work with the receiver on this TV is external and on the other TV mount, the adjustment for the horizontal level was too minute, it could not compensate for the weight of the external receiver mounted on back of TV (comes standard with TV). This TV mount could be adjusted to compensate and make the TV level even with the extra weight of the external receiver which is on one side of the back of the TV. So, yes, would buy again.

Just what I needed. Though don't be fooled, the two end pieces are plastic and attached with screws to the top and bottom which are metal. Not that I believe it will make much difference. The lag bolts are going through the metal frame, so the weight isn't really on the end pieces anyway I hung a TCL 75 inch 40lb tv to this and it is very secure. Still up after 2 weeks. Comes with all the necessary hardwar, a mini level and card template and it's super easy to mount. But you'll want a ratchet set to tighten the bolts. The gap in the middle was perfectly sized for my power outlet. I fitted this mount to x2 1x4's as I only had a center stud that matched the dimensions, the boards were connected to three studs by 2inch deck screws. Then used the provided lag bolts to fix the mount to the wall/boards. Two lugs directly in the center stud and two lugs into the 1x4 top corners and drywal. I tugged at this thing hard and it didn't budge. The two arms that mount to the TV have multiple holes to height adjust, and once mounted to the TV and on the tv mount, simply slide along the metal top gracefully to get you centered. No locking mechanism though. The extendable arms are very practical and work well, get them tilt positioned first and then turn a handle to tighten. Push the TV with even force towards the wall and the arms collapse comfortably. See pic for a wall clearance reference. Overall great product at an affordable price.

Overall, this is a very good product. I had actually purchased to install one TV and ended up installing on a different one. The template that's included is very helpful along with the installation video. The instructions are really, including letting you know what additional tools will be needed. Be sure you have a good stud finder and good drill to get your pilot holes started. This might be where you spend a bit of your time. I also liked the recommended, "stress / tension test" the instructions have you perform before mounting your TV. The TV braces are designed well and make it easy to take the TV down if needed. Some additional details specific to my TV. TV Type: Samsung w/recessed screw holes. Some Cons / areas that could be improved: 1) Take extra care with the TV Braces as they have rough/sharp edges. As I learned the hard way by getting a nasty cut while making some adjustments. 2) The spacers provided were of limited help. Fortunately, I had the original spacers that came with my TV and were a better option than the ones that came with this kit. 3) This one is important. I'd recommend purchasing a separate installation hardware kit. The variety pack that this mounting kit ships with is nice but doesn't have everything. In my case the bolts/screws for the TV though were the right size however, they were either too long or not long enough. Fortunately, I had additional bolts from another hardware installation kit that were just the right fit. 4) Lastly, this product ships with 4 Lag Screws that you use to secure the mount to the studs in your wall. For added support and safety, I ended purchasing some additional Lag Screws. All-in-all it's not a bad product for the price. I actually ended up purchasing the larger version of this product from the TV that I had originally intended to use this product with.

Good quality and solid. I returned it as it didn't suit my TV and wall position, though, nothing wrong with the bracket or concerns of quality.

Very strong and sturdy

It is a solid and very practical one, offers good flexibility to adjust any angle. But unfortunately the tilt function is failing, it won’t stay straight, drops down slowly I’ve time due to lack of grip. It would be great if they could fix it. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it.
