16PCS Skate Bearings 608RS — ABEC 9 — High Speed Wheel Set, Blue

Recently bought some rollerblades for going around the village in, but I found the bearings were all rusting as they were not waterproof; I decided to buy these bearings, put them in and so far have not seen any problems. They are waterproof and dustproof, meaning I can roll around my village without having any worries of them rusting. The only thing I would say is that my skates don't roll for as long (in other terms, these bearings decelerate slightly faster than my previous ones) but this is only very minor and doesn't actually make much of a difference. For only £10, these are great.

Cheep alternative for scooters and skateboards. As there left out in the rain it's better than buying branded ones. As the rain ruins them just as fast despite the price.

Bought these to make some spinners. Not as frictionless as stated compared with similar ones purchased (I bought bearings from three different companies which were all more expensive) but fine for the outside bearings. For the price they are recommended, but I suggest a faster bearing for the center (ceramic if you want real speed, but they are significanly more expensive)

huge improvement over the old bearings that came with the skates. my son is literally twice as fast on them now!!

Very durable and easy to use

These ain't "frictionless". They don't free-spin if you hold the middle of one in your fingers and flick the outside - it stops pretty much immediately. They feel fairly smooth but possibly packed with very heavy grease, maybe? I picked these up for various 3d printing projects; I will probably get some more expensive "faster" ones as well, so I can choose between Cheap and Good as the task requires. They will probably suffice for kids scooters and suchlike, where you're not fussed about letting them get up to high speeds. Likely not well suited to skateboards or other applications where you want the lowest possible rolling resistance to maximise speed.

Been using these bearing on my Roller Skates for jumps, tricks and discos. Not one problem with them. My last set of different bearings rusted away very quickly but the new set has endured skating in the rain on multiple occasions and still look really good. Highly recommend at this great price.

"This item isn't eligible for return" PLEASE NOTE THIS ITEM IS NON RETURNABLE!! I've never come across an item I couldn't return on here so it didn't cross my mind to check the policy. The news that it can't be returned is a red flag that shows a lack of confidence in this product. Who would keep them if they weren't forced to? These are dreadful bearings. 1 star. I'd give 0stars if I could. ZERO. They're awful. They have no spin and are packed with stinky grease designed to compensate for its lack of spin-ability. It fails. Hold the inner centre tube between your finger and thumb and spin the outer rim. They don't spin around. They are stagnant and stiff, no movement, smell, and can't be returned. I feel robbed.

These are supposed to be standard 608 bearings with an 8 mm inner diameter, but the bore is noticeably oversized. The bearing is far too loose on an 8 mm shaft and therefore unusable for my application. A 608 bearing should have an 8 mm bore within proper bearing tolerances. Very poor dimensional accuracy.

Ik gebruik ze voor de goedkope Crivit-stepjes van de kinderen. Die lagers zijn zomaar vergaan. Voor een paar euro kunnen ze er nog even wat langer mee. Grote kans dat deze lagers langer meegaan dan de step zelf…

Products are good but took forever to be delivered

Ich habe 2018 und 2022 diese Kugellager für die Inline-Skates meiner Kinder gekauft. Ich fahre selbst mehrmals pro Woche auf Inline-Skates und kenne alle Qualitätsprodukte und Marken für Kugellager. Ich bin begeistert von diesen Kugellagern, weil sie erstens meinen Kindern eine schnelle Fahrt ermöglichen und zweitens unglaublich haltbar sind. Meine Kinder laufen mit ihren Skates beim Spielen auch durch Schmutz und Sand. Der Schmutz geht auch nach Jahren nicht in die Lager. Auf der anderen Seite gibt es durch die Art der Schmierung etwas mehr Widerstand beim Beschleunigen, aber nicht so viel, dass meine Kinder das gestört hätte. Und wenn eine gewisse Geschwindigkeit erreicht ist, laufen die Lager sehr gut. Meine Kinder sind mit mir auf Skatenächte mitgekommen und 20 Kilometer gefahren, ohne dass es sie groß angestrengt hätte. Für mich ist das der beste Kompromiss aus Haltbarkeit und gutem Lauf, den ich je bei Kugellagern erlebt habe. Und das bei einem super Preis. Die vielen schlechten Rezensionen hier finde ich verwunderlich. Vielleicht schwankt die Qualität? Aber ich habe keinen Unterschied zwischen meinen beiden Käufen bemerkt.

Seems to do what they are supposed to do but as expected they are according to measures and rolls but not fast. Perfect update for my daughters second pair of second hand rollerblades.
