Is this any good for a lady over 50 who doesn't want to wear add layer over layer of foundation to keep her just applied makeup look all day.

I have been using this for about six months, I'm over 60 and really like it. I spray a little on before foundation and blusher, then a little spray to set it. I can tell it works by the amount of make up that comes off when cleansing. One tip would be to spray very lightly at arms length.

Is this genuine by Rimmel?

I have no reason to believe this is not a genuine product. Works well and def keeps makeup in place.

Will it hold glitter make up in place?

I wouldn't think so. It seems to give a dewy effect. I would go to the old tried and true old fashioned way of shutting your eyes and give your face a good spray of hair lacquer. Does the trick for me anyway.
