Reinforced Air Drying Modelling Clay (Stone), 12.5Kg

Bought this at Christmas and it's still supple and soft. If it seems to harden whilst using just add a drop of water and it's back as intended. Excellent value for money and we've had a great deal of fun. Countless hours modeling and painting. Ideal for teeenagers and adults too. So easy to use. Amazing durabiy. Should start during as fyer a few hours, but better left over night.

5* for Scola Reinforced Air Drying Modelling Clay - highly recommend. Easy to use, clean, lots of it and cheap. Dries very well. Great for kids and big kids! Clay is easily and softly manipulated with fingers or plastic tools - add another blob of clay & you can't tell it's added, it smooths in lovely. Paints nicely and varnishes well too. Have used to make little animals - worked very well. Got the surface smooth (rather than showing finger prints) by wetting finger and running along surface. Left in spare room for a couple of days, then popped in airing cupboard. Came in big tough plastic bag with wire to seal it shut - is storing well. Very happy with product. Go on have some fun!

Fantastic value for money. Large heavy bag which i split into small tubs so it is easier to get to, it doesn’t go hard if in sealed tubs. It does have a tendency to crack whilst drying i just use a water spray to rewet and try to smooth back over as best as i can. I am making fairy houses for the fairy garden which is a lot cheaper than buying them. It is very therapeutic aswell. It has been great during lockdown. It is very messy clay though my hands get covered but i don’t mind it cleans off really easy. I use acrylic paints then lacquer gloss spray so can put them in the garden when the nicer weather comes.

Ideal clay for working with children. I use regularly with my students at school. It is easy to manipulate into coils, pinch pots, rolled into tiles etc. Can dry quickly if over worked but dries well when object etc complete. Good to paint in ordinary poster paint, draw on with markers when dry to keep costs low for school. I recommend for any mini project in class or for individuals wanting to be creative.

scola is good value for 12KG. Thought that the clay would be more robust when dry though - it does crack and crumble unfortunately. Its great to shape when wet, if a bit messy, but once dry you can't sand it to a smooth finish like some more expensive clays, which is a shame. It drys a pale beige stone color which is quite nice, but not white, stone or cream as I was hoping so despite my best efforts to incorporate it into my craft work and save a few pound, I will be giving it to the kids, who will love it, and going back to more the pricey air drying clay:(

Llevo mucho tiempo buscando y probando arcillas. Por fin he encontrado lo que buscaba. Esta es fina, se trabaja fenomenal siendo a la vez resistente. Simplemente " ESTUPENDA "

Pour un total de 12,5 kg, le prix est TRES convenable, j'avais peur de a qualité car le packaging laisse penser à de la pâte à modeler pour enfants, néanmoins pas du tout. J'ai été extrêment surprise de la qualité du produit. Cet argile ne donne pas de fissures vu qu'il n'est pas sec, son humidité le fait perdurer dans le temps. Le séchage est rapide: 2 jours si laisser en zone sombre à découvert. 4 jours si laisser à zone sombre couvert d'un tissus (pour éviter les craquements) Je commanderai mon argile autodurcissante chez vous dorénavent!

D'une facilité incroyable à modeler, souple, solide, ne s'effrite pas, ne craquèle pas au séchage, c'est devenu mon argile préféré !!
