VERY easy to instal (didn’t need any of the spacers)2. One hand easy in and out.3. Unbelievably stable feels really solid.4. Gives you access to all buttons.Don’t know what else but it’s really best I ever hadI drive ford S-Max so not sure how will works in other car.Just to mention my cd slot is really really tin but still holder feet just like it’s been made for it.Highly recommended xx

Perfect solution - the shape of the dashboard/console in my Ford Focus makes it difficult to get stick-on pads to adhere, and because the air vents are vertical I've struggled to find a way to support my phone. This holds the phone exactly where I want it, in view but not obscuring the windscreen. It has a firm grip, no worries about the phone falling out when going round roundabouts, and it can still be plugged in and charging. Wish I'd found this before I tried other less successful options.

This is a brilliant piece of kit - I’ve bought and tried so many , ones that say super suction cup and as soon as the sun come out they fall off , they drop off in the middle of the night and set the alarm off and so on - then I by chance discovered this little gem , I am running a vw transporter van (2016) model it fits very snugly into cd slot , it doesn’t wobble about I am using an I phone 7 in it , it’s below dashboard level so it doesn’t interrupt forward view , it also doesn’t interrupt the touch screen radio , it’s easy to pull out when you want to change a cd and it doesn’t affect playing a cd neither - truly brilliant simple and very affective , the spring loaded grips hold the phone firmly . I love it and it’s great value for money

Using one of the supplied rubber shims this gives a secure and stable mount for my phone, gripped well by the sprung rubberised pads.I like the compact size of the device, which allows some flexibility over positioning of the phone.It's quite an elegant solution and I think it would even work well in a small car where space around gearstick, heater controls, etc could be tight.

Very good mount and well thought out however, perhaps due to variety of CD slots on ICE (In-Car Entertainment) kit, it's difficult to be sure about thickness of rubber wedges. I would drop the thinnest one and provide one slightly thicker than the one that ships at present.My phone is iPhone 6s Plus and with a case on, the grips are pushed out to almost the end of their travel. Perhaps this could be made wider but have inserts for smaller phones...? The weight of my phone and possibly not having a thicker rubber wedge, means there's a little wobble over bumps in the road.Previous slot type holder used a screw mechanism to widen the part you slide into CD slot but this was more wobbly and there was always a worry that the holder or CD opening/surrounding fascia may break due to the stress applied.Lastly, I would hope that over long term use, the ball joint between the holder and slot part, doesn't weaken to the point of becoming floppy. There's no adjustment to either tighten/loosen the joint. This may mean the holder would cost more but I think it would be worth it!

Product looks as advertised but constantly falls from the CD slot. It comes with 3 size rubbers for thickness however when you turn the car the phone holder drops from the slot.The holder comes with 3 rubbers however all 3 aren't thick enough. I have a Ford Focus with a Sony stereo if you can rectify my issues this would be good

Nice, simple piece of kit. Comes with 3 rubber pads to change the thickness of the CD insert.I brought one for myself as I don't want a phone holder in my line of vision or stuck on my dash board and I certainly don't want a suction clamp on my windscreen, and as my CD slot is quite high up in my dash ('05 Mazda CX 5) I thought this one would be perfect and it is. After a successful test drive, my wife was so impressed that I ordered one for her car ('03 Renault Scenic) and she is equally as pleased as I am.It holds your phone very tightly and securely and with the correct insert fits the CD slot well, making the use of Google maps etc spot on.Highly recommended

I use my phone as a sat nav, so need to mount it for easy visibility while driving. I chose a CD player mount as my car's air vent is sort of hidden behind the steering wheel, and I didn't want to mark the dashboard with an adhesive mount.The placement is ideal for viewing the phone without being distracted, but the actual mount doesn't quite fit in snugly into the CD vent. It may be because the vent is curved, but even when the mount is in properly as far as it can go, you can still move it because both corners aren't in properly, which you can kind of see in the photos. I tried the different adjusters that come with this but they don't make a difference as it's fitting perfectly right in the middle, it's just loose at the corners.I don't want to complain too much because it is generally perfectly fine for driving, and really good value for the price so I'm keeping it for now - but it does get looser and looser with every time you take the phone in and out or adjust its position. A couple of times it has fallen fully out while driving, which is pretty distracting and annoying, if not downright dangerous.It's a shame because the bit that holds it to the phone is great - very very sturdy and easy to take in and out and adjust the phone position, so if it fit properly in the CD player it would be perfect. But if your CD player looks like mine, I'd maybe consider other options.
