If you want to use this fondant to model flowers or figures it is a little soft when worked so keeping it cool once formed is helpful until it naturally dries and can hold the shape you want. I used 2 250g packets to cover an 8inch round cake, this amount gave a good coverage with barely any waste, what is left has been saved to make a couple of small figures or a couple flowers. Although the fondant is quite soft it is not sticky making it wonderful to work with, I have used a lot of fondant icing over the years and this is by far the smoothest I have ever used.
