Caran d'Ache 0902.302 Full Blender Bright Pack of 2 in Blister Packaging Approx. 14 cm

I have spent the last 30 years working with art materials due to severe spinal damage and have become a fairly good judge of what is good. These pencils do not perform anywhere like the far superior Derwent blender pencil.Mr Ian Summers

These come in a pack of two unsharpened blender pencils. A little tricky to open without ripping entire packaging (I wanted to retain it with spare pencil in). The pencils are flat both ends and I sharpened one end with my electric pencil sharpener to enough of a point to enable me to blend and burnish my pencils. I bought these due to the description stating they worked well on both wax and oil pencils. I recently purchased polychromos pencils which are oil pencils, so was keen to try the pencil out. I was very impressed with the blend ability and the burnish - giving a nice wax coating to protect the colouring underneath yet retaining the bright vivid colours used.

It does the job, but I personally don't like the effect. I would rather layer coloured pencils gradually, using them to blend/burnish as I go. This seems to lay down too much wax and spoil delicate gradations. Perhaps I'm not using them properly?

its ok.. work. but for same price u can have a prisma that is better.i am a bit desapointed.. i belive prisma and derwent work better with wax based pencils

Good blender for pencils ,, not the best I've used but it's also not the worst. I find it's a little hard on the paper and you waste a lot when u sharpen it to a point . My item arrived broken so I emailed the supplier as each blender was in 3 pieces . To there credit they did issue a replacement but sadly that arrived broken as well (each piece was in 2) but by the time I've sharpened each piece I will probably have my original order . Not a blender I would but again.

This pencil is so handy for blending. Only gripe both pencils were snapped in the middle. The jiffy bag had not been damaged so I assume they were dispatched broken.

This blender is more of a polisher imho, it brightens up the coloured pencil you've already laid down rather than blending it more smoothly into each other.Mine arrived broken in half unfortunately, but they're clearly still useable, I just sharpened the smaller end!

Was worried they would arrive broken but they were in a bubble wrapped envelope. Started opening them before thinking about taking a picture. They seem really good have only used paper blenders before. Arrived before estimated delivery. 5/5*
