Lodge Seasoned Cast Iron Muffin Pan - 6 Impressions (Set of 2)

Love these cast iron muffins pans!!!!! I will never go back to the non stick muffin pans with the paper cups. These cast iron pans are the best! Have made eggs bites and muffins in these and everything has come out great. I will say after the very first time I used them the recipe did stick a little but I just seasoned the pans again and haven’t had that happen at all. They are super easy to clean. They are very heavy, as expected with cast iron so it’s great they are 6 packs otherwise it would be a lot of weight to maneuver around the kitchen, especially when they are hot. Would definitely recommend!

Love these! I’m obsessed with cast iron. When you preheat these in the oven you don’t even need liners. They are completely non stick when used right.

I pretty much only cook/bake in cast iron or ceramic coated cast iron made in countries that meet or exceed American standards for metal cooking/baking pans. Other materials in cooking/baking pans can leech into the food being made and cause health problems.Was delighted to find that Lodge makes cast iron muffin tins so that my healthy muffin recipe results in healthy muffins by being bakes in Lodge cast iron.

I’ve spent 50 years avoiding teflon but it’s hard to keep up with all the aluminum and nonstick jargon and regulatory nuances on unpronounceable chemical names lately. I was skeptical about going back to good ol’ cast iron, worried about the pan not releasing my baked goods. I bought these muffin pans anyhow. They arrived seasoned. They ain’t light but they aren’t too heavy either. I gave them a wee coat of spray olive oil and used them to make my World Famous Gluten Free Breakfast Banana Bread- but as muffins. Well, 45 mins later I took them out with the ergonomic handy handles they released like a dream and the muffins were perfectly evenly baked (and scrumptious I may add). The pans washed up so easily due to the apparently perfect seasoning Lodge does before they ship them. I hand dried them immediately as per the instructions. Beautiful and they will hopefully be coming out of the oven with great great great grandma’s World Famous Gluten Free Breakfast Banana Bread muffins in them, to be enjoyed by my as yet unborn great great great grandchildren. Very nice product. So old fashioned it’s ultra modern and seem sturdy enough to last many lifetimes…

Makes great muffins no rappers required. Crisp crunchy outside! Pop right out as long as you don't forget to grease the pan

These work well for baking without cupcake liners. Just be sure to season these well. I just line them with oil before baking, and they slide right out after they cool.The heat distribution is even, and the pans are a great value for the money. They are also the standard cupcake size, which isn’t true of antique cast iron. The weight is not too heavy, which I’m sure is why they only did 6 cups per piece instead of a dozen, which would make it pretty hefty.This is high quality, along with all the other modern Lodge cast iron I’ve purchased. I would not hesitate to grab Lodge ever after trying these.I gave one to my daughter, and I have the other one. Now I’ll need another set to round us both out.

Use for popovers. Hold heat well and make light and airy popovers.

My first batch of muffins with these pans came out perfect in terms of baking, but stuck like crazy despite oiling each cup with ghee right before puting in the batter.That said, clean up is easy if it sticks; just soak them for about 15 minutes filled with water, then after removing stuck material with a regular scrubby sponge or spoon, take a stainless scrubbie and whisk out the rest. I don't use soap, even though Lodge says you can.Needless to say, I've now seasoned them myself in the oven and hopefully the 2nd batch will not stick. I have a lot of cast iron so I'm used to it normally taking some time for the seasoning to build up

Un des moules est arrivé avec une anse cassée. Soit il y a un pb d’emballage, soit de fragilité du produit mais à ce prix on attend beaucoup mieux.

Fabuleux!La cuisson des muffins est parfaite et rien ne colle.De plus, l’entretien de ces moules est facile.Je le recommande.

Beautiful cook ware, quality superb, heavy no warping, holds the heat , easy cleanup, just received and already used for a batch of banana muffins (6) recommend if you love to cook they will be used for generations.

Use these exclusively for Yorkshire puddings and - wow!they will not disapoint, need to use more batter than i used to because the recess is so much larger.Wish i had got into cast iron sooner.
