These chunky, colourful blocks help introduce colours and shapes as babies sort, stack and drop the blocks through the slots in the bucket lid. Empty the bucket to start the fun over again and again! And with an easy-carry handle, you can take Baby's First Blocks wherever you and your tiny tot go. Age grade: 6 months + Key features Exciting put & take play! Your baby will love putting the blocks in the bucket one by one, and then dumping the bucket to see all the colourful blocks come tumbling out—over and over again! And while they're having fun, they're exercising important developing skills too, like hand-eye coordination, and thinking and problem solving skills. The fun "grows" with baby Baby's First Blocks "grows" with your baby's developing skills. When your baby's ready for a challenge, the shape sorter lid fits right on top of the bucket for sorting and matching play. Five shaped openings encourage little ones to drop the shape blocks through their corresponding openings. And when they're done, it's fun to dump the bucket and start it all again! Oh My! Baby's First Blocks is a fun way for you to extend play into an early-learning opportunity for baby, introducing baby to colours counting and shapes as you play together. As baby puts blocks into the bucket, identify colours ("That block is red…"), shapes ("Look, that's a triangle!"), and counting, as baby puts all 10 blocks into the bucket one by one. Pretty soon you'll be able to ask baby to find a red block, or a triangle block—and even count! Baby development Fine Motor - All that block-grasping and put & take play helps strengthen your baby's hand-eye coordination and dexterity. Problem Solving - Babies will exercise their problem solving skills as they figure out how to sort & drop the blocks in the correct spots. Curiosity & Wonder - All the bright colours and fun shapes help to engage your baby's natural sense of curiosity during playtime.
