Nice quality cotton, wash up well and keep their shape

I received the order 2 days later than predicted, delay probably caused by extra post at Xmas.Queried with Amazon and received prompt helpful response immediately. Item arrived shortly after receipt of Amazon email.Regretablly the same level of product quality cannot be attached to these Fruit of the Loom T shirts. Described as "Heavy Cotton", they are patently not. The quality of cotton is very thin, nowhere near as thick as similarly priced Ts from George at Asda for example. Maybe they will thicken up with washing, jury out on that one for later editing. Main reason I purchased FOTL shirts is historical. Many years ago my company purchased an order of T shirts in their brand colour and logo. These were really heavy duty cotton, beautifully smooth, extremely long lasting - in excess of 15 years!!!, and bear no resemblanceto the current offering. I do not have the time to return these Ts as I am far too busy in the run up to Christmas, caring for my elderly father who is registered blind. Be warned people, this is an inferior product and not worthy of the Fruit of the Loom name unless their standards have fallen considerably.Edit: No, these T shirts do not thicken up with washing/drying/ironing, however........ they are remarkably warm to wear therefore I have upgraded to 3 stars. Original criticism still applies, thin material and a little on the snug size after washing. Be warned.

I bought the small size, and I can confirm without any shadow of a doubt that they do shrink in the tumble dryer!!! Was bought for night time wear for my son and they are now the same size as the age 10/11 T shirts bought from Primark (which are also tumble dried). Have now ordered some medium ones to see if they will fit after washing and drying as I'm not going to stop putting them in the dryer, will just need to find the size! Material is not as soft as would have been expected, but isn't harsh or anything. For the price a good buy - once I have found the right size!Update - I then bought the medium size, washed and tumble dried. These came out of the dryer about the same size as the original small ones! So both lots I bought shrunk quite a lot, even though the care label says you can tumble dry! Not particularly soft material, if anything the medium size ones were even less soft than the original lot I bought. Still pretty good value for the price, but be warned - if they fit, don't tumble dry otherwise they won't fit again!

Can't go wrong with these fruit of the loom plain white T Shirts, unlike many other multi pack brands these T shirts are great quality and are made of a thick material. The neck line has thicker material around to stop any stretching either while washing or wearing. They also keep there colour after washing. Perfect to use for a plain white and use as a under shirt, Cheap enough but great quality so great for working and also good enough to wear plain T with a pair of Jeans or Joggers. Delivery was prime so was very fast next day. Well Packaged, Only downside is they all need ironing before wearing but that's no big deal im just a bloke who isn't keen on ironing. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality plain whites that last and keep there colour and shape then these are perfect.

I mean.. it's a cheap pack of 100% cotton T-Shirts, nothing special.Pros:- 100% Cotton so it's pretty comfortable to wear and is a breathable material so you'll sweat less.- It's a nice pure black colour that doesn't really fade- It fits nicely.. for a while- It's relatively inexpensiveCons:- It does still start to shrink in the wash despite stating it's pre-shrunken fabric.- Every time I order the white shirts I get a mixed bag with grays, whites, and blacks. This isn't an issue with the black t-shirts last time I ordered them, however they can mix up orders.In conclusion, if you need T-shirts that are wearable go ahead and get them, however I wouldn't buy them if you're looking to make a fashion statement. (If you are a bit of a larger individual I would wear the black t-shirts as they make you seem slimmer, I've put on some recently and the white t-shirts really make it stand out!)

I ordered ex- large as my chest size is 42" all previous tee -shirts I ordered as large were tight around the chest. So I needed ex-largeUnfortunately, these ex-large shirts measure 24" across the chest making them 48" or 122cm circumference and so big I have not even tried them on, I will give them away because I cannot be bothered to wrap them up, drive to the post office to return them. The quality (fruit of the loom) is as always good quality, but the size!

I'd order a size larger than your usual fit. I'm not fat or thin and my usual fit is a medium. They were just too small. The large however are great. Fruit Of The Loom are a fantastic t-shirt for the price and really well made with a nice thick collar. You could even wear these t-shirts out with a pair of jeans as smart/casual wear as they look like expensive t-shirts. Once ironed they look even better. I've had compliments and people asking what make it is. I'm a 32" waist just in case this might help. All in all they're really good t-shirts.
