Effective Flea Drops for My Cat Trixie!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using the frontline Flea Drops on my cat for the past few months almost a year and I’m really pleased with the results. My cat had started scratching a lot and I noticed a few fleas in her fur, so I decided to give these a try.The application is really easy – the drops come in small, single-use pipettes which makes it simple to apply directly to the back of her neck. Trixie didn’t seem bothered at all during the process, which is great because she can be quite fussy!Within a couple of days, I noticed a big reduction in her scratching and after checking her coat, the fleas were completely gone. The treatment seems to last well between applications, and I like that it’s affordable compared to some other brands.I now buy them on subscription from Amazon so I never run out. It’s convenient and saves me a bit of money too. Also, no bad smell and no sticky residue on her fur, which I’ve had problems with from other products before.I’ll definitely keep using these as part of her regular care routine. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an easy and effective flea treatment for their cat.

It works great, but it takes time
Quite a few reviews say Frontline does not work. It does. Fleas can pretty much lay their eggs and larvae in your carpets, rugs, and soft furnishings of which, they can sit dormant for MONTHS. Frontline on its own works for a short time... but what about the fleas in the carpet? You need to treat that too. Even if you vacuum the carpets, that won't get rid of all the eggs and larvae. It is a start but then you need to think about your bed! Yes, they can lay dormant in your bed without you even knowing it... for now.If you have a cat with fleas, you need to treat the cat with Frontline, but then you have to treat your house too. You need to get a flea treatment for the house which contains Insect Growth Regulator. These are often in a spray format. But the entire process will not be a quick one. It can take months. You need to vacuum frequently, and over time things will improve. I always use a steam cleaner on my mattress and go over my floors with it too every 4-6 months. If you have indoor cats, the treatment of Frontline and house treatment of an IGR spray, with a deep clean will help and control the infestation. If however it is out of control, then you should call in the professionals who can use industrial equipment. Also, you should get your cat checked with the vet regularly too for precautions.Frontline works really well and I now use Frontline for precautionary reasons and have not seen a single flea in a very long time. Time is key though as this does not work overnight. It will on the cats and they will be pleased but your house will take time. Fail to attack the house properly, and the problem will come back.

No longer effective on my cats
We've been religiously using Frontline once a month for the last few years with great results. Unfortunately, it now appears to no longer be effective as fleas have been spotted on my cats. Our vet has also advised that there are other reports that Frontline is no longer working. I normally take his advice with a pinch of salt as he would rather sell us his recommended prescription-only brand, but it's been clear in our case that Frontline is no longer up to the job for us.If it still works for you, I'd certainly recommend it. Each pack contains 6 pipettes and a set of little stickers that you can pop in your calendar to remind yourself to treat the cats. Despite being painless to apply, my cats still freak out so I find warming it between my hands and stealthily applying it is the easiest way to get it done.

No longer works on my cat
I have used this regularly on my cat for a while, and it seemed to work well. However, I have used this twice recently and it hasn’t worked at all. I have read that fleas can now become resistant to Frontline, if used regularly. It could also be the hot weather we’ve had in the UK for quite a few months, which probably hasn’t helped. In the end my vet advised me to use a different flea treatment, which has worked perfectly. No sign of the fleas at all.

Reliable at First, but May Not Be Anymore
I've purchased this product several times in the past and it always seemed to work well. During the time I used it, my cat never had fleas, and it never caused any irritation or issues for him. However, after a recent visit to my vet, she raised concerns that the product may not be as effective or reliable as it once was. Based on her advice, I’ve decided to stop using it.
