**Q: Are these scissors sharp enough to cut through 3 tears of fabric?**
A: I have cut through layers of canvas, movers blankets, thick ornamental fabrics. I haven't tried cords or quiltings yet but haven't any doubt that they will do as they should...

A: Yes. Either right or left handed people. My daughter is left handed and she can use them with no trouble.
