Can this be used to check the amps charge rate of a battery?

Haven't got a clue, this was purchased as a present not for my personal use.Can only suggest that you read the product description or contact the supplier / manufacturer for more info.If still in doubt don't buy it!

How to test connectivity?

Just turn the dial to the continuity setting and that's it, it will produce a beep to indicate if a circuit is broken

can you use this to test car battery? Which mode is that? (I look for volt option but i can't see it on this meter?). Thanks
