Kids still play with this
Do you want a toy that will stand the test of time?I bought this toy for my kids a while ago (years). They still take it out to play with. The game has varying difficulties which helps encourage the children to be more critical in their thinking. It's made of wood and very smooth.Ideally, you can give this to A5 year old and they'll play with it.

Good fun
Bought this for my son's fourth birthday. He likes it and has played with it, although it does need concentration so he doesn't always play for long. Lovely concept and enjoyable for adults too! Need to get balance right of helping them but letting them work it out for themselves. I'm hoping he will get more into it as he gets a bit older but I'm pleased for now as he has already had lots of enjoyment from it. Also v much like that it is wood and not plastic!

deceptively good and engaging
I purchased this for my 3 year old granddaughter who enjoys puzzles. Although there a few pieces and it may appear simplistic you have to consider it as though your were their age. It was one of the few presents that engaged her while surrounded by umpteen other presents and retained its appeal. It was also a hit with her 6yr old cousin.

Great
Great fun for my 3 year old. I suggest leaving them alone to complete the tasks once they’ve been shown the ropes. I find it’s better for development.

Great logical problem solving opportunity
Such a great activity. Starts at easy and moves up in levelled challenges slowly. Great for a child to do on their own or in pairs .
