A: It will fold but it’s quite stiff

**Q: total width with arm rest please?**
A: Not sure but I would think about 2"

**Q: How wide is the seat please?**
A: Hi the seat is 47cms from arm rest to arm rest, but if you go from frame it’s 52 cms.

I bought this, as I needed a comfortable chair, and this chair certainly ticks all the boxes, Plus points.. comfy, reclining, high backed, foldable.. Negative points.. heavy but sturdy, and stiff to fold up . Conclusion.. A great chair, but don't carry it far, as it's bulky, and it's stiff to open and close, but I'm sure with use, it will become easier... So it's a 9/ 10 from me...
