26417100 10m K3-K7 Series Post 2008 High Pressure Extension Hose - Black

Simply brilliant! Had a K2 premium but alas that model couldn't be used to extract water from a static source like a water butt or pond. Bought a K4 Premium Eco instead. The extra 10metre extension hose purchased here sees no loss of power. Think I'll try a large bucket (25l litres or more) like you would use for beer making as a static source to reach the further bits of drive around front of property as water butts x3 are round the back. N.B. If extracting from a water butt or pond suggest you purchase the water filter (separate accessory number 47300590) that looks like a specimen bottle! @ £15.43 when sourced April 2014. This will ensure no dirt particles enter the pump in the pressure washer.

I have given that heading because I am not sure about the hose types for other models. However I had to make a decision of buying this product more from the picture then the product description, especially because there were mixed reviews on other similar items which did not arrive as expected.This is an excellent extension pressure pipe, which easily connects & brings out the same pressure. I was going to go for a longer 10m replacement hose for my K3, but opted for a shorter extension at the same price. This meant I ended up with an overall 12m hose. Previously I had to bring out an extension lead and longer hose pipe to get around the garden. Now I can leave everything in one place and reach all places I need to. The extension plugged into the jet wash just like my current hose and then the old hose plugged into the extension. To release you need to pull back on the socket and the old hose pops out (remember to release water pressure first). The hose is much thicker and sturdier than the original pipe. You still get the same stiff coiling of it, but that is the price to pay for a high-pressure hose. In use there has been no noticeable drop in pressure.Really pleased with it and it suits my needs perfectly. I did have one issue in that the female hose receiver (big lumpy bit) wasn’t screwed on particularly tight and it did work loose. I put a bit of PTFE tape on it and tightened it back up and no problem since.

An expensive but needed addition to my Karcher K2 compact to clean around the car and down the driveway and patio. Although tightly coiled, it does seem to extend fairly well as needed and the re-coiling makes storage easier. Very tough and durable as I had come to expect from Marcher and was quite easy to attach after viewing a YouTube video. Recommended.

A slightly helpful note here for those who complain of not being able to unfold this. Unwind hose fully in large space using weights in places to hold hose down. Roll hose up into large circle diameter, and use string to tie the hose in that position. Now assume you get a really warm day leave the hose tied up like this on the ground or hang on fence for about several hours, the hot sun will put the hose into that size of circle, give or take a few small unwanted shapes! Extension hose is easy to connect to my Karcher K4 but cable stiffness makes it difficult to unravel and coils easily. In use the plastic connector that attaches to the hose has detached, whilst easy to re-attach, makes it awkward to use. In summary whilst this hose does provide extra reach, it does take patience to uncoil and use.

Strong robust hose that gives all the extra length required. It fits straight in to the karcher of extends a hose already in use. Good price

Excellent product. Simple connection for a very long hose with the original hose on a K4 still attached to the machine. I did not experience to 'coiling' that others have mention. Received mine on a warm day, rolled out and it was fine. For £60 it's quite expensive for some tubing and ideally what I should have done is bought the more expensive machine with the longer hose and reel for storage as a loose hose is a pain for storage.

Das Produkt funktioniert fantastisch! Click & Go quasi... selbsterklärend. Der Schlauch ist wie gewohnt sehr starr und sollte vor Beginn ausgelegt werden, sollte man kein AntiVerdreh Verschluss gekauft haben. Ja den gibt es! Sollte Kärcher eigentlich direkt damit ausliefern... zumal es einen weichen Premiumschlauch gibt mit dem AntiVerdreh Anschluss... den habe ich mir jetzt bestellt. Ich mache Videos über alle Kärcher Produkte ohne Sponsoring auf meinem Youtube, einfach mal uthixo Kärcher in YT eingeben.Einzige Manko. Bleibt man mit dem Verschluss beim hinterherziehen hängen... geht dieser ab. Und ich habe keine Ahnung wie ich diesen wieder zusammen bekomme. Das Plastik will einfach nichtmehr dran bleiben. Man kann ihn noch abkapseln, wenn die Kappe richtig drauf sitzt. Aber es bleibt nicht dran, obwohl keinerlei Bruchstelle sichtbar ist. Laut Kärcher soll ich es zurück senden und es sei nicht zu reparieren. Schade!Die 10m sind extrem hilfreich. Ich kam auf ganze 30m damit. 10m Wasserschlauch, 10m original + ihn hier.Mir fehlen nurnoch exakt 2m hinterm haus, an die ich um Himmels Willen nicht kam... dazu bräuchte ich den nachrüstbaren 12m Schlauch + Extra und Wasserschlauch... aber egal! Diese Stelle bleibt ein Relikt um zu sehen wie sauber der Rest ist :P

I wanted to increase the range of my k3 but i could move it much away from the plug as it would be an electrical hazard if i use an extension on wet floor, so this along with the supplied hose add up the length and i can reach a large area without moving the machine
