Surely it has often happened to you that you have driven home after a fishing session and found at home that one or two tent pegs are missing or have broken heads. So some tent pegs get lost or broken over time. But they can be easily restocked with the Bivvy Pegs from NGT. The set contains 10 tent pegs with a length of 20 cm. However, their steel pins are not only anchored in the plastic head, but reach all the way to the top. This significantly reduces the fragility of the heads. The ground at Shell Island was full of rocks and shale which my original pegs wouldn't have stood a chance with. These however (Along with a large claw hammer) didn't flinch, If it hit a rock, give it a welly with the hammer and the rock lost the fight. I had issues with virtually every peg placed, yet they all went in, and even in horrendous weather conditions (I lost a very expensive windbreak as the wind was that bad it snapped the metal poles holding it up, but these pegs stayed in place), not a single peg came loose. The large plastic handle made them very easy to retrieve, and the carrying pouch is perfect for throwing in with the tent (Unlike others that have solid cases). The plastic peg grips are robust and look built to last and should make removal a lot easier. The twisted metal pegs look of good quality and should resist rust. The bag supplied will keep any dirt contained and stop them from getting lost.
