Marshall mini amp
It seems a very well made item the controls feel quality and the sound i think is very good. Not sure on battery life yet but it does have 9volt socket which is handy.

Good quality amp
Good product, looks great attached to electric drum kit. Sound is decent quality. Had to buy cables and adapters separately.

Cool little portable amp
I bought this as a quick plug and play amp for small spaces/on the go as an alternative to my huge ass Fender Mustang 5 head unit and 4 x 12" speaker cabinet. Using a Stratocaster and a Mustang combined with a DigiTech Death Metal, this micro amp can really scream. Decent tone, chugging riffs and lead sustain. Cranking the volume too much it starts to fart/clip, but playing it at a sensible level it's actually pretty good and pack's a punch. I agree with the other reviews how clean it is not very good tone or indeed not very audible even on max volume. Not tried the built in over drive much but it seems OK but best to use a decent distortion pedal. Overall would recommend on the basis it is a portable amp that can use a battery as well as a power supply and is decent for dirty metal riffs. If you want a starter practice amp get something bigger as this is too small for that.

Always wanted a Marshall amp
Eldest son wanted a cheap portable amp for jamming session and camping. Fits the bill. Only negative is the kettle whistling/buzzing. As a novice at amps happy to live with due to price and size.

Great little amp, especially for the price and portability
I have this amp on my desk as a larger one wouldn't be feasible. I originally used batteries as i didn't have enough plug sockets to plug the amp in, but it went through a battery pretty quickly, so i managed to get it plugged in. I did initially use the Overdrive mode, which was ok, it wasnt amazing, and there was very little adjustments you could make, but it was useful, but now i just use the clean tone as i have my pedals setup under the desk. Overall the sound quality is good; about as good as you could expect from a small amp, and i have no issues with it for my use. I would definitely recommend this as a gift for someone who plays an electric guitar, since, even if they already have an amp and won't use this as their main amp, this is a useful thing to have since it is so portable and can be battery powered, because they will use it at some point, and will appreciate the gift.

Beware 50Hz mains hum
Very susceptible to mains hum. Have tried using this with battery only equipment only (inc, the speaker and source) but don't get it close to a mains powered device (as in the UK) you'll get a nice 50Hz hum. Not great and I'm outside my returns window. I have several Marshall Emberton II bluetooth speakers and these kick the ar5e of the MS4 but I use an audio to bluetooh transmitter to do this. The MS4 is cheap and nasty unlike a lot of the rest of Marshall kit (I'm sure there are exceptions) that produce amazing sound quality.

Powerful little amp. Fits a purpose perfectly.
I bought this for my boy’s guitar lessons. He’s 11 and has to carry it with his guitar. It fits neatly in his bag and it’s at all heavy. The battery won’t last a huge amount of time, and it can sound pretty bad once the battery starts to go, but you can buy a power cable if you don’t mind being stuck near a socket. It is amazing for what it is though, it kicks out a great sound, has overdrive which is a handy feature, is portable and even has a belt clip! Plus it has a headphone socket too. I use it sometimes while I’m sat on the couch trying to learn to play too, just because it saves me dragging out the big Marshall, plugging it in, and then exposing my neighbours to some of my hellish learner screeching!

For the price it is obviously not going to sound absolutely amazing but it still sounds good, my husband and I got it for our son so he could play anywhere and it works good for him. Without having to lug around a massive amp, I call that a win.

Got this for my son who uses it on with his electric guitar. He absolutely LOVES IT! I love how there is a little jack for his headphones as well. It looks amazing with all his guitar and sound equipment.

Sound is goo for small speaker, however, when the guitar is closed to it a harsh sound comes out very annoying
