Maybe because the metal brackets where loose in the same package and damaged the card BUT maybe it didn't. Anyway I expected it to be package much better.

Drop it down to PCIE ver 1.0 (not the speed) if your mobo refuses to read it. No instructions, no help from Google....save yourself a few hours....works like a charm pn a windows 10 PC

Item wasn't reading on mac Pro, tried it on windows the same. No help instructions. Avoid it.
