Exo Terra PT2466 Dial Hygrometer

This was really easy to install. The instructions are simple. I bought this so we could monitor the humidity in our corn snake's vivarium. I'm a first time owner and our snake is a rehome. I've been doing research and a whole lot of watching and learning habits because I went into this not knowing a thing! The hygrometer functions well. Its easy to see. It seems to be pretty accurate and the first shed was a perfectly complete so the snake must be happy.

* Easy to install / use * Size is perfect enough to be read. * Accurate in temperature measurement for the most part as i've not yet seen a problem. * Value for monies without no doubt. I do have to admit i bought this in a hurry thinking it was a thermometer, only to realise it is actually a hygrometer. Beside that, i'm really glad i have bought this hygrometer as it really works a treat in keeping my little dinosaurs in the right humidy possible, without it i would of been lost and i'm pretty sure my little dinos would've thought i was a useless owner lol.

Wasn't 100% sure if my digital one was reading correctly so I got thos one. They both read the same so they're both correct. Very easy to use just make sure you remover the inner circle of the adhesive pad or you'll block the censor. Read a review with photos showing it not working but it was on the outside of the tank! So it works great and is easy to read IF you place the sticky pad correctly and put it inside your tank. Good value for money . Built well and reads humidity perfectly

I have been using this to check the humidity in my incubator. Works great and seems to be quite accurate. Very easy to use, just put it where it’s needed and it did the work for you. The only thing is when the humidity gets too high it can be quite hard to read but that’s mainly because I have to have it flat, I’d imagine if you had it in a tank and used the sticky pad to secure it then it would be much easier to see. Great value and good quality. Would recommend.

I tend to use one in all my vivarium's, they're a quick reference for the humidity in them. As far as I'm aware they're reasonably accurate (being analogue and compact, extremely accurate readings aren't on the cards) Would recommend

used the exo terra hygrometer for years and its never let me down, im actually using it now for my chicken egg incubation as its the most reliable ive used

Great little thermometer. Comes with a cool adhesive pad to make sure it stays on the wall of my vivarium. Great size too, big enough to see, but not so big that it's an eyesore in a reptile habitat.

I have two of these in separate vivariums in the same room. I've had one for the better part of a year and have had the other about 4 months. They have been working fine for me. I love the color coding that makes them easy to read and interpret. I don't feel the need to chase humidity down to the single percent, but rather follow trends and correct conditions as needed. While there may be times when the needle doesn't seem to move much, when the house become dry in the winter and supplemental humidity is needed, these little hygrometers help me keep viv humidity in the right range. If you need to move these they can be moved. I used a razor blade to remove, removed all the backing and then hot glued in the new position. While the included tape is relatively safe in a viv, with snakes fully cured aquarium safe silicone or hot glue is even safer. Just be careful to use small amounts of glue on the four raised pads. If you block airflow it will not work right. What's not to like about useful, inexpensive and easy? Love these.
