I like the hat. It's light and gives me good sun protection. My only problem and it's my fault is that it's a little snug so I can't wear it too long but maybe it'll break in and stretch out a bit. Time will tell by I'm looking to buy another brand that sells a bigger size. I wear a 7 3/4 fitted and this is an X/XL.

I don't usually where these type of hats, but got this because my ball cap kept flying off my head when in our side-by-side with sidewinds. The sm/med hat fit me great and I usually wear a 7 1/4" motorcycle helmet if that helps anyone. My only issue, is the fairly large brim is pretty floppy and with the wind in my face at 30 mph+, it is either stuck up or down against my forehead. Besides that is is fine for normal use, but I bought it for to wear with our Yamaha RMAX. So I may look for something with a stiffer.

I bought this hat primarily to protect my left ear from the sun when driving because I am susceptible to skin cancer. It accomplishes my objective. Since no one else in my area has a hat like this, the other benefit is that my wife could always find me when we were shopping and went our separate ways. All she had to do was look for a tall man wearing this hat and she would know it was mean. It saved us a lot of time searching for each other since we are not avid cell phone users.

Item was as described is good quality. The brim is floppy and that’s what I was looking for. I got a size L/XL because I wanted a looser fit and it fits me just perfect and is loose enough.

It’s almost like a cowboy hat but not big and awkward. Light weight and stays in place.

Nice hat but not 100% or 65% but 55% cotton. Is very soft and comfortable though.

it does needs a bit of shrinking, but my main problem is that there's a small tear on the crown, on a seam, where it shows + I hope to mend it w/o it showing too badly.This hat IS pretty. It's a gr8, classic hat + I'd hate going to Kohl's for a stupid $13 item.I just bought a denim bucket hat from this same seller.(I can't wait to get it!). I mended the tear on this 1st hat but I fear it DOES show. I wear wigs + the hats seem to make my wigs look less wiggy.Plus, I DID return this hat but repurchased it immediately.. I like this hat THAT much.This is a very good + fast seller. I just wish the 1st denim hat from them hadn't had that small tear + missing grommet. I hate going to Kohl's for such a minute amt of $.I'm pleased I'd decided to return the 1st hat qà the missing grommet + hole + reordered it. I'd ended up buying 8 hats in the past few wks with this being my favorite of them all. I'd had to go to Kohl's for another return so it all worked out fine.It's truly a fantastic hat + was very reasonable. The new, replacement hat arrived while I was @ Kohl's returning the damaged one.

Got it, it's as expected, though, to be honest, a bit "floppier" than I had hoped for. I own a couple "Propper" boonie hats, and they tend to hold their shape, even in the rain... this one is quite floppy in the brim, and I have taken to wearing the sides "snapped up" to solve the issue.I bought this for wearing during hunting season, hoping for a sun hat that was also highly visible. It does have good visibility, but it's use as a "sun hat" is hampered by the fact that when worn "unsnapped" it hangs in my sightline.Further, the cord pulled out on one side of that hat within the first hour of wear. I just removed it entirely after that.All in all? It's a fair to middlin' purchase. The colour is what wanted, but the quality is a bit less than I had hoped.

I really like this hat.As I said in the headline, the hat is Thick Enough to Keep the Rain Out and Wide Enough for Sun Protection.Despite the floppiness of the brim, I can get it to how I want it when dry: not sure that will be the case if it rains, but the material will certainly keep the rain out.I would recommend this hat.The chin strap is an essential inclusion (in case the wind catches the hat and tries to lift it off your head).
