2 x Large 90L Litre Galvanised Steel Metal Bin Ideal for Animal Feed/Storage/Rubbish/Dustbin

These arrived promptly and 4 days ahead of expected delivery date! Well done! Separating the two bins provided us with a few moments of humour and anticipation - but two people, one lightweight hammer, one old/folded towel to protect the edge and five minutes gentle tapping the top edge eventually saw the bins separated. One had been dented at the base - presumably in transit (surely no supplier would knowingly despatch dented goods?)Am satisfied that these will be more than adequate for storage of wild bird food (and most importently, inaccessible to rodents!) and I like that the lids come with edge loops of wire which fit under the bin handles to keep the lids closed and snugly fitted. I'll be storing these outside and trust that the galvanised surfaces will keep the bins rustproof and the contents dry - for several years? I'll keep you posted if they disintegrate quickly: fingers crossed ... they are, after all, just cheap dustbins!

Arrived one day later than expected . Lids are a very loose fit so not at all animal proof for storing animal feed in the barn . Have fitted with elasticated bungy hooks between handles over lid so hope that works . Lids do look a different colour to the bins so maybe they were not the correct lids for these bins. Not expensive so maybe you get what you pay for! Photo of lid on bin. we purchased two! Both the same problems.

For bird food as our plastic bins have been gnawed through by rats and squirrels. This should defeat the little devils. They are sturdy enough for this purpose but they are lightweight. We have painted them for extra protection. Good value for money.

These bins are not the best. One lid handle spot weld was broken when delivered. Handles are not sturdy enough to lift when bin is full and lids are not a good fit as quite loose. Using bin to store dog food so will have to tie lid on .

These bins are a little lighter than I expected and arrived one inside the other.Unfortunately they were badly dented which meant I was unable to separate them until I knocked the dents out...Apart from that they are perfectly acceptable for what I want..

I used mine to keep my chickens' layers pellets and mixed corn clean, dry and safe from vermin. Does the job perfectly. The small additional 'locking' clips are a bit of a pain though. They always seem to turn round and get in the way when I'm replacing the lid. Otherwise no complaints. I've ordered another set, another for wild bird feed and one to keep wood ash dry when I clear the woodburner, so that I can use it on the garden in due course.

We ordered this as a rodent-proof,dry method of storing food for our chickens.There is obviously a bewildering array of products on the market,but these are great & excellent value.so far seem to be doing the job perfectly & have a really good capacity which can hold more than x2 20kg bags of corn/pellets.The little metal hooks which go over the handles to hold the lid on don't look terribly robust,but time will tell.For the money,superb.no complaints at all !

Great for storing bird seed (rat proof) flower pots in greenhouse etc. I have purchased 3 of these for different storage and I am very pleased with them. Mine are all in greenhouse so not sure how they would last if left out in the elements. I gave mine a quick puff of wd40 around base to give them better protection against damp. Recommended
