I have been using my supply gradually and I have found that the lavender retains its fragrance. It arrived very quickly and was well packed. One thing to be aware of is that the lavender smells much better once it is out of the plastic bags it's packed in - when it first arrived it had a slightly sour plasticky scent. That disappeared once I removed it from the plastic bag, let it air and stored it in a large glass jar. This lavender is very good value and certainly smells the same as the much more expensive French lavender I previously bought. Review: Lovely lavender - I recently purchased 2 bags of this lavender to make 40 little lavender bag keep sakes for my Nan's funeral. Everyone commented on how strongly (but nicely) scented they were and that it must be of good quality. I have a lot left over as one bag was enough to fill 40 small (approx 3inch by 4inch) cotton sacks, so each 500g goes a long way.
