Bose SoundLink Color Bluetooth Speaker II - White

This is my quintessential speaker for around the house nowadays - used when cooking, doing chores, working out, having people round. Sound quality is great, plenty of bass (when back of speaker is next to a wall) which is nice. Easy to connect/disconnect devices and stay paired. Pretty lightweight and compact considering the sound power generated.Battery life is ok, doesn't last for a full house party (~8 h) when used at a decent volume, even when fully charged; leaving it on charge is the obvious solution, but then of course it's no longer portable. In my house layout this isn't a problem, but it may be annoying for others.Also, in my case, the rubbery outside is very slightly mis-fitted such that the micro-USB port is a bit obstructed - just means I have to be careful inserting the plug, this does not affect charging effectiveness.Overall very much worth the money, Bose speakers almost always are imo.

Beautiful design and I like the unique sound quality. Sound is a difficult one to review and many reviews for different sound devices are for different ears but after a while of listening to the same speaker your ears can really start to enjoy the unique sound that comes from a speaker. I like this speaker a lot. The minimalist design and great battery is a massive positive. I connect it to a turntable and it emulates it pretty well. It's not your Hi Fi speaker but for the price and performance you can't really go wrong. Bass and mids are good. Hi's are pretty good as well so delivers solid sound. But please remember this is from my ears and we all have different preferences for sound quality but I have used hi Fi speakers and ended up coming back to the minimalist and solid performance of 2019 Bluetooth high quality speakers. I have only had the speaker's a week now so may need to edit this review but solid option for a speaker you can leave at home or take out.

I was not planning to spend that much but decided to go for a good brand... I love it. So easy to set up and I use it daily. The sound is good enough given the size. Enough for the house and to have a small party in your leaving room. Perfect to take it with you in your bag and listen to the music in a park for example.

Pros - the sound quality is amazing, can go very loud as well. It’s light enough to carry around but is also sturdy to have on a table. It looks great, and is soft to touch almost like silicone and comes in a wide variety of colours - I chose white because it would go with most things if you decide to change the decor of a room.Cons - quite expensive, the battery doesn’t last very long and takes a while to charge.

After a bit of research I bought this yesterday. It arrived about an hour ago. Set up was incredibly easy and I am already playing some tunes. The sound is excellent from such a small unit. It’s a BOSE so it’s always going to sound good. I can’t understand why people are complaining about too much bass…just move it away from the wall ya dorks! ;)Overall I’m really happy with it and would recommend it to anyone.The best thing though? I purchased it yesterday for £89 and within an hour the price jumped to £129. Bargain.

This speaker has woken me up more times than I care to count, automatically connecting to devices despite not being in pairing mode with no way of turning it completely off.The battery also barely lasts so it's portable for maybe half an hour to an hour tops. Do not recommend. You can get much cheaper speakers that are far better.The sound is good though.

A nice little speaker for my kitchen, playing MP3 music and podcasts. Pleasant sound from such a small device. Pairs quickly and performs well. My only criticism is the "voice" information that is very hard to understand. It is pointless adding a facility then giving it such a poor performance. Looks to be solidly built.

Really like the sound I get from this - it fills the room. It was very easy to use. I downloaded the free app for my phone, and the speaker did the rest. When I switch it on it searches for my connection which it finds immediately and also lets me know the battery life left. Very pleased. I can't comment on durability as I've not had it long enough, but would recommend it on the experience so far.
