Can you use take n play trains with this set too?

Hi, no not at all. The take n play trains are much too small. You could use the wooden trains, but the track really is just for Trackmaster trains.

Can you buy extra track for this ?

I bouight two seperate similar items and the tracks fitted together well . noty sure if you can buy extra track

The train is not moving by itself??? isn't it supposed to?

The train requires 2 x AAA batteries. There is a small Philip screw (cross screw) underneath the train at the front. This has to be unscrewed to remove the entire top section of the train and insert the batteries as shown. Once screwed back on there is a switch on the top of the train's cabin, forward to make go and back to stop. hope this helps.
