Excellent product which was purchased in order to connect a new Samsung UHD TV to an old but much loved pairs of wireless Sennheiser headphones. The headphones base unit could not be plugged into TV because it does not have a 3.5mm Jack input. This product was setup in moments and works flawlessly. Excellent quality audio and no settings need to be changed on the TV either. Particularly useful is that the product To utilises one of the USB slots in the TV to draw its power, therefore removing the need for any additional electrical adapters.Very happy with the product - fabulous price considering the USB and optical lead are included, so no need to buy additional optical leads. Happy days!

Good simple little box, used it to send audio from my tv via optical cable (supplied) to this box and then RCA to my receiver. Works flawlessly and is powered by a spare USB port on the tv using the supplied power cable. Nicely built and very small so easy to hide.

Very simple to install on the new TV(why no headphone socket?),and the sound seems to be fineA week later and this item is working fine with good sound . As I said it is simple to install as long as I took it steady and really glad it's working. Still wondering why new TVs have no headphone socket .

Good bit of kit. Converts optical audio into analogue just as expected. I'm using it to covert optical outputs from my TV into a surround soundSystem, and it works perfectly.Prompt delivery in packaging that could be posted through my door rather than me having to collect from a depot.Great customer service too. Followed up the purchase with a short 'Thank You' email. Doesn't take much to do and makes so much difference to the customer experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for the same thing.

This device converts a digital signal to analogue ok but the volume level is low even if the volume controlis set to max.Not suitable for use with a smart TV.

Straight off the bat this product says quality before its even plugged in. I use it to run sound from my TV through my old school stereo system and it works wonderfully. I am very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend it. Incredible value for money.

I wanted to feed the sound from a Sony DVD player with co-axial audio output plus a Humax PVR with Optical output into my hi-fi, an ancient Yamaha with phono plug inputs. This clever box almost worked for me. The sound conversion was flawless for my purposes. Unfortunately, I found that the optical input took preference over the co-ax. I had hoped I could leave both plugged in and simply turn on the source I wanted to hear, but plugging in the optical lead nuked the other one until I unplugged it. This is mentioned in the paperwork that came with the converter, but not in the Amazon blurb. So the box is relegated to converting the co-ax signal, I used the analogue outputs on the Humax and I have to switch inputs on the Yamaha. Not a major problem but that's why I gave 4 stars not 5. Still excellent value and really well made

Voor weinig geld goede DAC voor optische uitgang naar analoge stereoversterker.Eerder een nog goedkopere Chinese DAC aangeschaft bij Joom, maar die bleek van slechte kwaliteit (geld terug)

Utilisé pour éviter les interférences en passant par un câble optique, il remplit parfaitement son rôle. Le son est clair, sans aucune distorsion. De plus son extérieur en metal le rend très solide.

Funziona perfettamente e sono INCLUSI cavi ottico e RCA! Volume leggermente basso ma qualità suono ottima. Rapporto Qualità Pezzo egregia.
