Just alright.
I haven't used this much. I feel the rollers are not ridged enough to really massage soft tissue enough.

Recommend this product 100%
I have MS and have been having really bad cramps in my calf muscle.Bought the roller after reading various reviews received it this afternoon and used it straight away on my leg and see if it would make any difference and hopefully take some of the pain away.Well after doing a few 5 min intervals it has taken most of the pain away and is at least 80% better with only the smallest of tenderness left in my calf muscle.Best product I have ever bought and 100% worth the money.Have no issue with the product and the finish of it

Great for calf pain after cramps
I occasionally get vicious calf cramps at night. A neurologist told me that he gets them also and that they're normal but I find it hard to believe this. A sleep physician then told me they are due to my sleep apnoea, and they have decreased in frequency since I went on a CPAP ventilator. I explode awake with calf pain and my foot is fixed pointing down in plantar-flexion. I press the ball of my foot hard on the floor and gradually the cramp eases. There seem to be painful knots within the muscles afterwards. Last year I partially tore an Achilles tenon forcing my foot too hard down against the muscle contraction, but there is nothing else to do when I get them. I looked into various massage devices and bought this roller stick. I am very happy with this device. Because it is used with two hands the pressure used is as high as you can deliver. It does remove the knots and lingering tenderness after a cramp. Using it as hard as I need to can be uncomfortable for the muscle, but it is better afterwards. I haven't got around to look at the instructional video on their website as I need it only for the calf cramps. I understand there are other uses and techniques.

Too plastic. Doesn't look professional.
I don't get the hype on this one. Bought this for my bf who is an avid foam roller fan but has some expensive big rollers that he doesn't carry around with him. I wanted to get something portable for him for after gym sessions or when he is feeling particilarly sore on the go. This is far too plastic in my opinion. I really wanted to take it back but it was too stressful to bother with the return and purchasing something else before Christmas. Massively afraid this is going to gather dust as it just doesn't compare with decent foam rollers. The reviews sold it to me but I should have known it was too plastic. They are marketing it on the fact that the pieces move as you roll it but unless you press down hard and do some fancy professional deep massaging, it's not going to have the same effect on the muscles for a true elite athlete as uneven foam rolling surfaces, in my opinion. Also, the packaging was a scruffy and cheap looking. I'm just hoping I'm wrong and it works for him and he isn't too disappointed that it looks like I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to his avid interest in sport haha!
