Great stuff and waterproofs garments well. Used as directed and the water now rolls off the jackets. So easy to use and good value. Leaves no visible residue. Seems durable too.

First and foremost I chose this product because of its size. I think it is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) spray it that price range, which automatically makes it a good value for money. As far as performance, it does what every other similar product does. Don't expect in any case to have waterproof shoes or clothes for ever, they will just be water resistant for a fairly good amount of time. I only used it on shoes and I am quite satisfied with the results. I found the results a bit better when I sprayed three layers after a 10 minute gap in between. In my experience the shoes stay water resistant for at least a month of every day use in the worst weather (scotish rain almost every day). The spay worked fairly good even on my all-star which now can handle relatively easy light rain. All in all, it is a good valued for money product and I do recommend it.

I wasn't sure this was going to make it for some garden cushions that tend to get soaked when it rains, but it seems to have done so. I got a hanging chair with big cushions that are made of water resistant materials (I think it's mostly thick polyester) and they seem to repel a little bit of water but when it rains for 3-4 hours, even if it's light rain they end up soaked and then, maybe due to them being water resistant, takes ages to dry out. So basically if it rains during the night, which in the UK happens a lot, don't expect to use the chair the next day, which really sucks. I tried this on the small head rest cushion and a bit on the big one, applied two very generous layers of the spray and let it dry for 3-4 days (just to make sure). I tried it on my sink and it repelled all water but again, the materials could do this on their own given it's just a bit of water. But this night it was raining and I went to the garden to check how wet they were, obviously the entire chair was wet all around but when pressing on the cushions they seemed to be dry on the inside. On waking up this morning I checked again and contrary to how it used to be (could take a whole day to dry) it was already dry. The big one was a bit more humid as I ran out of spray when spraying it and could only cover most of it, but not all, still that most of it did clearly do something as it was much drier than it would have been usually. I don't know how often this "treatment" needs to be applied, but hopefully it's just once a year or every 6 months. If so, it really is a wonder and a much cheaper option than adding a pergola to protect the chair.

Works well on my outdoor coat and when dry no smell.

Bit disappointed with this product. I've definitely used better, more effective water proof sprays and they weren't any more expensive. The spray worked well and the product was easy to apply with a good aerosol jet, but I can't say it actually did anything judging by how wet our teenage boys school bags and jackets were following the first heavy rain. I wouldn't buy it again.

Tried to use it for my umbrellas, coats (fabric) and a dawn jacket. First of all, use it outside the house. It smells quite strong and probably not good for you to be in the same room with that smell. You need to dry them well after spraying it before taking them into the house. I think it works fine - I can see the raindrops are repelled and flow down nicely on the umbrella surface, and a very little amount of it soaks through the fabric now. The same for my coat and dawn jacket, but you can't really walk through the rain without an umbrella and expect all the water is miraculously repelled from you - you'll still do get wet, but I can see lots of raindrops are flowing down the jacket without going through the fabric. So for me it works as I expected, and I'm glad I got it.
