Schmidt Universal Fountain Pen Ink Converter

Good quality and well made converter works well and is easy to use. unfortunately it didn't fit the pen I bought it to fit, a vintage Wearever pen, I was misinformed somewhere along the line but I have plenty of other pens that it does fit, my fault entirely. The ones that fit are the ones that take standard international cartridges (as it says in the listing).

The product was used to convert a cartridge fountain pen into a normal refill pen. Advertised as designed to fit any standard fountain pen it was ideal for my purpose. Well made and well designed it does exactly as advertised. There are specific fountain pens that require specialised manufacturer converters so check that your pen is not on the list of those pens which would not benefit from this converter.

I used it for my montblanc fountain pen and it fits without any issues. I recommend it. I am only giving 4 stars as I have nothing to compare it with. So far no issues.

Good converter. Compatible with Amazon basic fountain pen China made and waterman graduate and hemisphere fountain pens.This will solve problems of convertors for these pens.I need one or two such converters in all.Drawback is that it’s more expensive than other converters like parker and jinhao. Otherwise no problem.

Algunos se quejan de que no es universal, porque no sirve para todas las plumas. Obviamente no puede servir para todas, porque algunas tienen sistemas propios de la marca (Parker, Shaeffer, etc.). Pero una gran parte de las plumas pueden compartir cartuchos y convertidores, y por eso se llama a su sistema "universal". Es el caso de Waterman, Montblanc, Kaweco, Inoxcrom, Faber castell, y un largo etcétera.

Great item can now use different inks and works on most of my fountain pens

I bought this to use with an old Levenger fountain pen. I do not know what it is called, but it is yellow metal with a ribbed barrel and a pretty fine nib. The cartridge ink refills never worked properly (clogs and skipping made me hate the pen) and I tucked the pen in the back of a drawer. 20 years later, I figured I'd try to find a converter and see if the cartridge ink was just inadequate. Happily, this one fits and using a good quality ink has turned this pen into a regular user! The converter fits fine, doesn't leak, works very smoothly and is made well.
