Great Christmas present
Lovely gift for my boyfriend. Super sleek and sturdy design and so organized. Love all the notes about how to use it at the beginning, very motivating. This book has a clear layout and ideal for anyone that needs to get organised. Good value for money, I might buy one for myself now!

I'm using to organise my time whilst studying. I've tried a few journals but I find this one the most useful. I set my intentions for the week and use it to prioritise and plan. I had been using the pomodoro technique for a while prior to buying the jounal. The technique is well described in the planner and if you need further information there is plenty on line. I'm much more productive than I was, my time is focused and I get less distracted.

helpful
I have been using this daily for three weeks now. I have anxiety, OCD and depression and am currently undergoing CBT. Procrastination has been an issue for me and this has genuinely really helped me. I get alot more done now.It has extra nice bits and review pages to fill in but even just having the prioritised list of tasks works well. Somehow it works better than simply writing your own list and I get a huge satisfaction at ticking things off when I review the book at the end of each evening. The book itself is very sturdy and high quality and looks as it does in the picture.

Productivity Journal Review: The Productivity Planner by Intelligent Change (from AntonySimpson.com)
The Productivity Planner by Intelligent Change is a journal aimed at boosting your productivity. It focuses on single-tasking rather than multi-tasking and doing the most important task of the day first. It also uses The Pomodoro Technique. The Pomodoro Technique is working on a task for 25 minutes without distraction or procrastination and then taking a 5 minute break.Like any productivity journal the Productivity Planner has Pros and Cons. Here they are:Pros- Its design is smart and business-like.- It’s compact and light to carry.- It’s dateless, meaning you can start using it at any time.- It prioritises tasks into: Most Important, Secondary and Additional.- It has Weekly Planning/Review sections.- It has a place for Notes on each day and a full Weekly Notes page.- Every daily page has an Inspirational Quote and a Productivity Score (1-10).- It has circles next to tasks to measure time. You set a Target and then record the Actual, helping you to allocate a more realistic amount of time for tasks.- It has a bookmark ribbon and an elasticated closure.Cons- It is really designed for business use. It only has a 5 day week.- There’s no Done boxes to tick tasks off on the daily pages.- The planner only has 6 months worth of pages in it. Meaning you would need to buy two for 1 year.- It is expensive for a journal, being priced at £20+.- There’s no short term, medium term or long term goal setting pages.- There’s no monthly or yearly view pages.- It is black and white throughout.- There isn’t anywhere to record rewards for completing tasks. I find rewards really motivating.- There’s no way to organise tasks into groups, e.g. Personal, Business, Health, Family/Friends, etc.I would recommend the far superior Inspire Now Journal by Inspire Now Daily, which I absolutely love.Review soon,Antony

This diary is excellent for staying productive, I really love it. Very good quality too. It has motivational intro and keeps you on track throughout, BUT SUNDAYS!!!!?? WHAT???!!! Knocking off one star as it does not have sundays at all - I'm very productive on Sundays!

Easy to use. Works for me.
I'm so easily distracted and put off so I decided to give this a go. I don't use it exactly as its intended i.e. Mon - Fri working. I work shifts and its not so much at work where I need to be more organised, it's at home. So I just use it seven days a week to prioritise what I need to get done on a given day. The method is so simple and it really worked for me. I also like how you can't overload your day with hundreds of tasks which is what tends to happen if you just use lists! Well worth the investment.

Great product
Only frustration is that the weekends are half the size as of the week days, or however you allocate the days you will have two of the seven that are shorter. I'd prefer not if all 7 days were the same. I use the planning ahead but not the weekly reflection pages.Really good product and can be a very effective tool.

The most amazing productivity aid out there.
I've used this planner since 2016 and absolutely love it. My productivity significantly increases when I religiously follow the rules of this planner. You need will power to make it work. Don't buy this and expect it to do the work for you. It can get hard to keep following the pomodoro approach and it can be hard to keep the lists up to date. But if you get to the end of the planner in 6 months then your productivity will go through the roof. Buy this, apply yourself and your next 6 months will be amazing. Give up after 2 months.....and.....you can guess the rest.

I think I'm in love
When my sister told me about this book I laughed at her. I keep a rather extensive to-do list and project boards, and rely heavily on Trello (still do) and the Getting Things Done system (wonderful book for people trying to get on top of their lives, chores, projects whatever). I use a similar system where I list the three most important things in my day - all without the book - but I also struggled to get anything done at all and felt overwhelmed. I didn't see how this book was supposed to help me 'organize and focus'.The first week was pretty much a disaster, but the weekly introspection helped. The daily - what happened? helped too. By the end of the month, I've gamified the system to help me honestly rate my personal score instead of going with a feelings based result. Priority task is 4pts, secondary tasks are 2 pts each, and the last bit are one point each. I might do stuff off the list, but I don't get points for that. It has helped me to stop beating myself up over not completing the list.I also choose weekly tasks from my trello projects, after breaking them down into mile stones. My priority task is a meaningful tasks for me, something life goal related and tends to repeat daily. For example: write 2000 words for a short story; it's usually something that will take more than 2.5 hrs to complete and may not be completed within the week. But progress is important. Secondary tasks are milestones that can take between 1-2 hrs to do. Progress is important too, but I try to make sure the milestones I create fit into this timeframe. It helps me to learn how to estimate my time better so that I don't overbook my day. My less important tasks are things that will take between 15-30 minutes to complete, and can be short group/bulk/similar tasks (like inbox-0).The other thing I do is group days. I have two days that typically get the most interruptions (Thursday and Friday), so I'll make page a thu-fri day, and I'll use the spare page for Sat-Sun - which are days I dedicate to secondary and lesser tasks, like spring cleaning, gutting a closet, or just catching up on tasks I hadn't gotten to over the week.A few weeks ago, I wasn't sure this book was going to be much help. Four weeks later, I've come to really appreciate how it's made me think of my day, what's really important to me, and the value of making progress on long personal projects. It's help me accept my limitations and learn seek help where I can. Now I can't imagine going without.

Simply Live-Changing
After having creative and business partners who were living calendars and project management gurus for much of my career, I was in panic after striking out on my own some 4 years ago: would I be able to get my sh§%t done without someone to whom self-organization was like a second language?Enter the Productivity Planner. This thing saved my life and is responsible for me achieving my most important stretch goals for the last 4 years. The thinking this planner has taught me and the constant practice of prioritizing what makes a difference to you & your life is a habit change that has made all the difference. The Planner is simple to use, feels great to the touch, and inspires. It is about the size of my Leuchtturm Notebooks, and takes up very little space in my bag. It looks great, like all products that Intelligent Change creates, and the content has great appeal and an incredible human touch (not pushy, business-y, „achieve-or-die“ or esoteric & flowery, but highly professional). Since they added weekends, the paper quality has become a little lighter, and is not as pen-and-ink-friendly as the first generation of Productivity Planners was - I wish the would bring back the thicker paper, since I love writing with my pen so much. But this is not a deal breaker.I have looked at a number of other planners: High Performance Planner, Michael Hyatts Planner (which comes closest). The cheaper ones are not as thought out as this one, and Brendon Burchard‘s and Michael Hyatt’s planners (although they have some very useful additional features) are often so overwrought and labour-intensive that they kill my momentum. This one inspires just enough friction so you have to think and consciously decide what you want your life to be and be focused, and how you did. But using it never overwhelms - perfect balance. If you are looking for a tool that will help you live intentionally, and accomplish what you want to achieve - this is it. Highly Recommended.

Consigliatissima
