I recently purchased the Oregon Q515064 Browguard and Steel Mesh Visor Combination, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations. This safety face shield is an essential piece of protective gear for any task that involves potential hazards, especially in outdoor work environments. Here's why I believe it deserves a glowing review. Sturdy Construction: The browguard and steel mesh visor combination is incredibly well-built. Wow, the quality of this is great. No more getting smacked in the face whike strimming. Look no further than this face sheild as thisnis all you will need and for a very good price

No instructions but application of little common sense and I worked out how to attach the visor. Good protection and reasonably comfortable to wear although not easy to wear headphones a the same time which is disappointing given the need sometimes to muffle the noise from garden equipment. Overall, good value for money and strongly recommended to protect your eyes and face if you are using any equipment that might throw something back in that direction.

I needed a visor to use with my petrol strimmer, but didn’t want the weight and bulk of a hard hat version. This caught my eye on Amazon as it did not have the hard hat, but instead just the brow guard and head straps. It’s nice and light to wear, but def feels secure, and is very protective. The brow guard gives protection to the front of the head and face. The mesh face protector is long enough to cover the face and throat. I have worn it a few times, and actually forgot I was wearing it, it’s so light and comfortable to wear. The mesh isn’t really noticeable when wearing with visor down. Love this item and would recommend without hesitation. Wish I had purchased years ago!

There are no assembly instructions, but all you have to do is attach the mesh, which isn't at all difficult. Some people have said that the mesh is only plastic: it feels like it is, but it attracts a magnet, so it's definitely steel. I have a small head for an adult, but I found that there are plenty of easy adjustments available to get it fitting comfortably and firmly.

Fit is fine though the build is lacking in that the visor often does not stay when pushed up. The mesh design means sunlight can cause diffraction effects and also small particles can get trapped but easily cleaned out with a water spray.

Ich nutze den Gesichtsschutz bei Arbeiten mit dem Freischneider und bin damit sehr zufrieden. Bisher hat das Visier zuverlässig alles abgehalten, was beim Arbeiten an Gras, kleinen Ästen oder sonstigem Material aufgewirbelt wurde. Praktisch ist die Klappfunktion des Visiers. So kann man es bei kurzen Unterbrechungen einfach hochklappen, ohne den kompletten Schutz abnehmen zu müssen. Auch als Brillenträger lässt sich der Gesichtsschutz problemlos verwenden. Der Kopfgurt ist weich gepolstert und lässt sich gut anpassen, sodass der Schutz sicher sitzt. Unter dem gepolsterten Bereich schwitzt man bei längeren Arbeiten natürlich etwas, das lässt sich bei dieser Bauart aber wohl kaum vollständig vermeiden und ist für mich daher kein wirklicher Kritikpunkt. Insgesamt macht der Gesichtsschutz einen soliden Eindruck und bietet für den Preis einen sehr guten Eigenschutz. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen – klare fünf Sterne.
