How big is this car in cm please?

Car has been taken home by my Grandson so I dont have it to measure, but if the real car length is around 14 feet then on a 1:24 scale it would be 17.5 cm which is a size comparable to most of these models.

Do the tyres come off the wheels

I think they do, but I wouldn't like to find out in case I couldn't get them back on, but I assume they can be removed/replaced easily enough. I hope this helps you.
