Does the job when you take off the egr valve assembly.clean.with this and reassemble half hour job

I've had my car for 2 and a bit years, it's a moderately old car, 11 years and counting. I used this after some wynns 7in1 fuel additive. It was running considerably better after but decided to give it some egr/air intake cleaner anyway to keep on top of things. Honestly, the difference was subtle but noticeable, but I don't think there was much wrong with the engine to begin with. I only used half a can of this on my car, I don't think it needed more, and it took 20 minutes as it was, compared to the advertised 10. Maybe I just wasn't being aggressive enough with it. One thing I will note is that most people say to spray it into your air intake or just after the MAF, I read the instructions online and it tells you to put the spray in AFTER the intercooler, preferably into the air intake manifold directly (I put it in after the intercooler just before the throttle body), and also that the car should be run at just under 2k rpm, not idle like a lot of people do. After this, I took it on a run and instantly knew it had done something. The low rpm acceleration was as smooth as silk; I didn't even know there was anything wrong with the car before this. I just thought it was how diesels were. Again, I can't claim it helped my mpg or total power, but I didn't have much of a problem with that after the fuel additive, and my engine wasn't too dirty anyway, but smoothness it helped with. I will definitely be making this a part of my yearly maintenance schedule.

Had reservations, my get valve was blocked for 4 months on my Range Rover evoque so used 2 tins sprayed at 1 second intervals as said on Tin, worked a treat and saved me £700

Had a low flow EGR b code and engine light on was about to send it into ford for no doubt a very large bill. When engine fully hot spray a 1 sec jet every 3 or 4 seconds. That was yesterday and since no code and the car feels better. Early days i know.

Used it as directed on my old Mazda 6 2.0d as it was starting to stick on the throttle. I had had the EGR get blocked a year or so ago and knew that this was a precursor so I decided to try the Wynns. Anyway so far after 200 miles I do not get any throttle stick, but there is less power and fuel consumption is worse. I guess it has done something and I did not see anything come out the exhaust so I guess it may still be working through the engine. So I would suggest it is worth a try if you have a suspicion if it is something that you need, but I don't think it is as magic as it claims! Update - so when I was disconnecting the air hose I managed to break a plastic nipple that fed the turbo and so I was not getting that kicking properly. I have managed to fit a brass nipple to replace this air feed and so now the car is back to normal. So I have raised the review to 4 as it has worked for what I wanted and I managed to get the soot out the exhaust. I just think they should be more clear at the problems of disassembling the plastic pipes and parts around the air intake as it could be expensive for someone using this product. I would admit though that I will use this product again when I need it.
