priceless, saves you a fortune
How many times have you put down your guitar with out thinking to get up for the doorbell or phone or stop the cat breaking your Ming vase? Then 'bam' your beloved axe hits the floor, worst case decapitated, dead, headless!! If only.....Well it happened to my friend once and I have had some close calls. His Ibanez lost its head and died. I have knocked chips out of some of my favourite friends. Not any more, I got this great guitar stand, it folds down, is portable and easy to use. Now I just open it at my feet and when the feline fiend tries to do some demolition work I can safely put down my beloved, which ever is in my arms at the time, and stop the mog from destroying my Lalique vase and keeps my guitars head in place also. Well worth the low cost for what it saves you in antiques. My wife, my other beloved, also like it, stops her sitting on a poorly placed Epiphone, ouch. Great stand!!
This guitar stand is great! It's so simple, not too costly and finally gives us somewhere safe to store our little boy's guitar which had been living, (in the way), on the sofa or standing precariously in the corner for far too long.I was a little apprehensive about whether or not this stand would be too large for my son's half size electric guitar, but it turns out that I need not have worried as the stand holds it beautifully. The great thing about the simple design is that it really will hold guitars of all different shapes and sizes no bother. So, if you have a little guitar and you're wondering if this stand fits the bill, wonder no more! This stand requires no assembly, so is ready for use within seconds of getting it out of the box. It also folds up again very easily when it's not required so that it takes up a minimal amount of space. It's well constructed and very sturdy and easily withstands all the knocks and bumps that it gets in our household. Definitely a good buy in my humble opinion!

An excellent quality stand. Well recommended.
A well constructed stand, taking up little floor space and holds my acoustic guitar safely in an almost vertical position. On delivery there is no construction required, the stand opens up for immediate use and, likewise, is swiftly closed if needed to be carried about. The supports at the base and at the back where the guitar is in contact with the stand are well padded and despite repeated use has not made the slightest mark on my guitar.Prior to my purchase of this stand my guitar was always 'put away' after use and never readily available for those odd moments of practise. Now my guitar can be lifted off, with no hassle, for the briefest of practise sessions and safely returned until the next urge for playing takes me.An excellent quality stand for its price. Well recommended to anyone viewing it.

Critical bit of kit!
After years of having guitars propped up in corners, falling over, being trodden on etc, I finally bought a couple of these. They're basic, but unobtrusive, and perfect for budding young guitarists and not too expensive guitars (for something a litle more precious a stand with a neck-holder might be better) - best of all they mean the guitar's right there, just begging you to pick it up...The stand is solid (so you probably wouldn't want to use it travelling) and stable. If I had to quibble, the plastic cover at the apex, which supports the back of the guitar, could be softer or better padded, but frankly, at the price, that is something I can sort out myself (should it prove to be a problem, which it hasn't so far).In hindsight, I should have got these years ago.

Guitar stand
These guitar stands work well with acoustic guitars but I do not own an elctric guitar and so cannot comment in that respect. The design is simple and robust. Before I bought it I was worried by a comment that the apex of the A frame was hard plastic and could scratch the guitar back. I have used it for some time now and no scratches have appeared. The two legs fold together for easy storage of the stand which may be useful. My only negative comment is that the spring loaded locking mechanism for this is a bit temperamental.

High quality, great value, sturdy guitar stand
Great value robust guitar stand suitable for bass, electric and acoustic guitars. I have an old workhorse electric guitar which weighs an absolute ton and it now sits snugly in its new home and I'm confident in its abilities. I've used other stands in the past but they've nearly all either wobbled or had balance issues relating to lack of height. No such worries with this stand, which is quite large and very strong. There's a button at the back which pushes in and allows adjustment of the legs so different sized instruments can be placed in the cradle. This product comes highly recommended.

Excellent value for money...
I use this stand for my Fender Concorde - it fits really well. Where the back of the guitar sits on the stand could be just a little more rubbery - but it's easy enough to put a little foam tape there to stop rubbing. The construction is metallic, with rubber feet, my guitar is 12cm deep and it fits fine.Definitely recommended for the price.

Guitar stand.
I bought one of these to hold my sons electric guitar without damaging it. It arrived, was put to use and then I bought another for my electric guitar. 'nuff said? Maybe not. It's small, some might say compact, does what it says on the tin; that it's not in. Offers an easy way to store a guitar, within sight, ready to use and available. For the aspiring guitar player that's the way it needs to be, whether you realise it or not! Am I a guitar player? Hell no, short fat sausage finger syndrome but I'm trying!!!! Get one bought, makes sense.....
