Lovely little house
It’s a lovely little house and I will use it but I do feel that it is somewhat tiny for a Syrian hamster such as my new little lad. Think if you had little dwarf or Russian hamsters then this is their dream house but I’m a little disappointed with how tiny it is. Will use it to pop treats on for foraging.

Lovely little cabin
I, and my Russian dwarf hamster, love this little cabin. I tend to sprinkle food on the porch area and he sometimes snuggles inside the house, or buries himself underneath. He doesn't really use the ramp, but tends to dig under it, and just jumps off the side to get down. Sturdily built, it feels safe for me to leave in his cage. Would buy again.

Happy hamster house
I bought this to add another hideout for my hamster and wow! She loves it. She mostly uses it to go to the toilet but sometimes I just catch her in there having a clean. My only slight issue is it’s kinda poorly made (see the picture under her chin, the staples in it) you can see like glue marks and stuff but she hasn’t chewed on anything but it is something to consider. I wouldn’t dream of removing it as she LOVES it but if she started chewing on it I’d keep an eye out as some bits do look a bit dangerous.

Good concept, badly put together
First of all, I like the cute concept of the little log cabin and the little ramp really lets my Russian Dwarf Hamster climb up without hurting her which is much appreciated.Size wise it is a little on the small scale, I would recommend getting a larger one for Syrian hamsters however my dwarf is very content and enjoys both parts of her new home as they are spacious inside. One problem I have with this product is, in the back of the house there are visible staples and nails which could be dangerous if your hamster likes to chew a lot, which thankfully mine doesn’t. Also there is visible glue on the stairs which could also be an issue to owners who’s hamsters chew as it is not specified what type of glue it is.Overall, I find it really s a good concept and is well designed, however it was not put together as well as it could have been and can be unsafe for large hamsters or hamsters that chew.

Downright Dangerous! Don't buy unless you're looking for a DIY project!
Ordered 2 (which is the minimum order quantity) both arrived unusable and completely unsafe for any kind of animal. Looked fine when I received them and packaging pristine so definitely not damaged in shipping. The houses looked fine from a distance but when you look closer there are huge splinters sticking out absolutely everywhere, around the windows, doorways and ramp. Even worse than that are these 1 inch NEEDLE SHARP STAPLES that have been used to hold the thing together. Two of the staples were sticking right out on the inside. I realized this immediately as when I was unwrapping them one of the staples impaled my finger. I'm serious it cut straight in to my finger, imagine what it would have done to my hamster if I hadn't noticed in time.I was going to ask for a refund of course but found out I'd have to faff around sending them back which I couldn't be bothered with. Since I'm not inexperienced to DIY I thought I'd try and make it work instead. Here's how:I used a screwdriver to lever the offending staples out of the houses. They also glue the houses together perfectly fine so there's NO NEED for the staples at all and I've pulled them out, vast improvement! If you have these houses and you're planning on doing just that I'd recommend pliers as my cheap screwdriver snapped right in half on the first one. The wood is extremely soft and I nearly broke one of the houses getting the first staple out so you'll have to pull them directly out once you can get a grip instead of levering against the wood panels. The next problem is the DUST. These both came with a thick coating of grey dust and wood dust so they'll need a good brush with the wood grain and then probably a quick rinse under some cold water (if it's warm or very long you'll dissolve the glue and maybe split the wood). The glue will go white when wet and then clear again when it re-dries.If you've got splinters like I did you'll probably also need to file them off with some sand paper (or if you don't have that a metal nail file works really well).Basically the only positive is that it seems they have now fixed the top section doorway so it's wide enough that Syrian hamsters don't get stuck in it and seriously injured. Yay?You'll also have to keep checking on your house even after making sure it's okay now because as your pets chew, more and more staples will become exposed - unless you pull them all out which I will probably end up doing.PHOTOS: One of staples sticking through on the inside lower level, a very sharp splintery side panel, one of the staples pulled out beside my now broken screwdriver, circle showing where the second splinter was pulled out from.TLDR: If all the above looks like too much work to bother reading then dealing with fixing this dangerous product to make it safe definitely is! If it didn't have giant sharp staples sticking out of it maybe it'd be passable but as it is the design is beyond stupid for rodents which chew their toys! There are much better wooden toys out there like bendy log bridges and wicker tunnels, buy them instead.

Excellent! My mouse loves it
My mouse LOVES this. He’s quite small so it’s a perfect size for him. I’d say this is suitable for a small mouse or hamster but not for a larger size like Syrian hamsters as they may find it a bit of a squeeze. There was a bit of excess glue which I sanded down and my mouse has made no attempt to nibble it. There were also a couple of large splinters around the windows which again I sanded down and there have been no issues. It has become my mouse’s favourite place to sleep and stash his snacks so I can’t fault it at all!

Perfect!
I bought this product size 15x15 for my two fancy Mice, Catnip & Felicia. I expected it to be small for the price but I was surprised by how big it actually is! I was sceptical at first with the amount of bad reviews it had but my two babies love it! As soon as I put it into the cage, they were inside / on top of it. It's their 'go to' toy at the moment. The house is sturdy, really good quality and I've had absolutely no issues with this product. My mice love it and I'll definitely purchase another one when this one becomes worn!

Well made, but tiny.
Very well made. Get very tiny. My Syrian Hamster (6 months old) looks like Godzilla on top of it. He can't fit in any of the door holes, they are over twice the size of him. I had to rip off the ramp at the side so there was an opening he could squeeze into to sleep in.

Buon prodotto
