The trays clip into the backing plates and hold in position pretty well. It is substantial enough, made from strong plastic and good value for money. For domestic use this is perfect. Review: Good product, but... - Good product, but design could be better. Pros: 1. Good shipping packaging. Arrived quick and not damaged. Bought 3 sets altogether (2 sets and then another one 1 week later) 2. Durable boxes. Fairly easy to attach 3. Good built quality of back plate Cons/recommendations: 1. Screw holes should be 400mm centers for stud walls. This is product is 220mm centers per dingle back plate. Had to attach some timber behind to make it work. 2. Spacing could be bigger between boxes. I decided to fit a nice board up as well as I was mounting it up on plasterboard which may not have supported the weight. The board was affixed firmly to the wooden joists so was able to hold it better. The drawers are easy to use and hold quite a lot of screws etc. I only used 3 of the boards and the associated drawers. When I need to I will add that to the mix.
