I’ve been using TotalEnergies Quartz INEO ECS 5W30 for my last couple of services and honestly couldn’t be happier with it. The engine feels noticeably smoother and quieter after every change. Cold starts are quicker and cleaner, and the car just runs more refined overall. You can really tell it’s a quality oil rather than a budget alternative. Being ACEA C2 and Low SAPS, it’s ideal for modern engines with DPFs and emission systems. That was important for me because I didn’t want to risk clogging anything or shortening the life of the filter. It gives good peace of mind knowing it’s designed specifically for that. I also like the age-resistance technology – even after several thousand miles, the oil still looks and performs well. No drop in performance or roughness, and fuel economy seems slightly better too compared to what I used before. Pours cleanly, good packaging, and great value for a fully synthetic oil from a reputable brand. Overall, reliable, high-quality engine protection and exactly what you want for regular servicing. A good product at a good price

I originally bought this brand oil, 5w-30 but a5/b5. I noticed that i developed I very slight valve tick. After doing some research, I found out that this was not the correct oil, despite saying on the back that it is approved by Jag. Yes it’s approved, for the old ones without DPF. I then learned that a5/b5 will essential poison your DPF. So, I bought this stuff, C2. Still 5w-30 but a slightly different grade. It doesn’t say Jag on the back, but it’s for DPF models and my manual actually specified this (too bad I didn’t read the manual sooner). I changed the oil yesterday and it made an instant difference. It starts up faster, doesn’t rock on shutdown and the valve tick is gone. She runs smoother and no doubt I will get more mpg. So if you’re looking at this oil wondering what to get in the confusing world of a million types of oil, well, if you have a DPF, get this, not a5/b5. Also, this brand seems to be very good quality and can handle the small tolerances of todays new engines. I’ve trusted it in my baby for a few oil changes now, and I like my car more than my kids!

Perfectly fine engine oil for my peogoet 108

This is the oil recommended by Peugeot in my service book for my 2008 Peugeot 107, petrol. I have always used this oil along with a genuine OEM oil filter at its annual service.

Because of the high mileage that I cover with my Ford Mondeo diesel, I want the best possible protection for the engine. The 2.0 TDCi engine in the MK4 Mondeo 2007 - is actually a Citroen PSA derived unit. When I first gave my car an intermediate service with this oil earlier in the year, the benefits were genuine and instantaneous. The engine felt more responsive and seemed to rev more freely. I did also note a small decrease in fuel consumption by around 2%. I was surprised how much difference engine oil can make. This oil has an excellent detergent package and will keep the engine clean in-between service intervals. In this respect it may be a good choice for older engines. With TOTAL INEO ecs I do not feel it is necessary to shorten the service intervals. There may be cheaper oils around, but why take the risk? With free delivery it is not only convenient to order your oil this way, but the price is great for such a high quality product.
