Amazing Sound & Super Comfortable – Totally Worth It
These DT 990 PROs are honestly some of the best headphones I’ve ever used — especially for the price. If you’re into music, gaming, or just love great sound, you’ll probably love these too.First off, they’re super comfy. The ear pads are soft and feel great, even during long sessions. I can wear them for hours without my ears hurting or feeling too warm. They're big, but not in a bad way — more like a cozy cloud for your head.As for the sound quality — wow. The audio is super clear and detailed. The bass is strong but not overpowering, the highs are crisp, and everything feels nicely spaced out. You can really hear all the little layers in your music or game. The open-back design makes the sound feel wide and natural — like you're sitting in a room with speakers, not just wearing headphones. They’re also built like a tank. Really solid and durable, not cheap plastic like a lot of other brands. Just keep in mind the cable is permanently attached, which might be a downside for some. One thing to note: these are the 250-ohm version, so they sound best with an amp or audio interface. They’ll still work with a phone or laptop, but they really shine when properly powered.Bottom line:If you're looking for headphones that sound amazing, feel great, and are built to last, the DT 990 PRO is a fantastic choice. Whether you’re gaming, mixing music, or just vibing to your favorite playlist — they won’t disappoint.

Incredible...PURE INCREDIBLE
These are some of the BEST headphones for mixing and mastering, and even just producing and games. They are a good size and adjustable to fit any head size. The sound quality from these is incredible! The soundstage is super wide and clear, and as its open back, you can hear every little detail. They are super durable and comfortable with soft earcups that fit nicely around your ears without making you sweaty as they are fabric. The headband part is comfortable and I haven't noticed any discomfort from wearing these up to 8 hours per day. I've owned these for almost a year now and they are still as good as the day I got them. They have a strong build quality and great sound profile! The high frequencies are a bit loud but easily fixable and not painful. These are definitely worth the money and I couldn't recommend these enough

Best headset I’ve used so far
Being a gamer I’ve used many many headsets over the years, most of them break pretty easy or have issues, have had these for a while now and still going strong.I can wear them for 14+ hours easily and don’t hurt or anything. The sound is amazing and they look good too. Good size fit to the head and fully adjustable. Cover your ears but you can still hear things around you or people calling your name etc.Cable is very long and functional so no issues reaching a PC under the desk for example. All in all I would say it’s very good value for money with the quality of these headphones and would recommend them to others.

Lovely but..
The audio is impressively good... Compared to many headsets I have used it is probably one of the bests espcially considering the price.Only reason I am giving it a 4/5 is because the cable is long but I would much prefer a longer cable or atleast have the option to change it to a longer cable. And also because I don't think the ear cups of this are very good. Not as comfy as I expected but got some replacement for other headset that fit perfectly on this one for about twenty pounds, and this are now super comfortable and I can use it for many hours without any problem.Definetly recommended, just remember to get nice replacement earpads for them.

An energetic & detailed pair of cans that can be tamed nicely if necessary
I have heard these cans described as very analytical, which is partly true. The bass is precise and very responsive (perfect for a funky bassline, jazz & classical music) but it isn't going to make your eyeballs rattle in their sockets ...so if you enjoy floor-shaking EDM or are after a gaming headset that does a hellfire justice, perhaps look elsewhere. The top end is really crisp, best appreciated when listening to acoustic tracks: the pluck of every guitar string is placed delightfully right into the centre of your head. This combination of a crisp top and a detailed, unoffensive bass gives the cans a wide, 'analytical' sound that is energetic and enjoyable in its own right. However, the middle is somewhat lacking and (if you have an amp) you may find yourself cranking up the volume to interrogate subtleties in the body of the sound. You can keep climbing the dB and these headphones will give you more and more, but you may end up confronting eardrum-piercing high frequencies before you get to the meaty middle that you so desire, depending on your taste. If you're looking for analytical phones in terms of a flatter, more faithful frequency response curve, these aren't perfect out-of-the-box ...but the combination of Sonarworks True-Fi + Schiit Fulla 2 tames these DT 990s very nicely (and I'd rather tame a sparkling but overenthusiastic pair like these rather than try to force energy and detail into a boring but flat pair). At 250 Ohm they *can* be driven adequately from my laptop or S8 so, assuming you aren't particularly hard of hearing, you don't *have* to have an amp to enjoy these. They're nicely built and have a tight, serious but not uncomfortable fit. Straight into the laptop/hi-fi these headphones sound like they're worth twice the amount they cost. With equalisation and a decent DAC/amp, these become disproportionately enjoyably at the price point.

Impressed right from the first listen
I just briefly tried them out on a Suzanne Vega album. The detail comes through very well, the bass is controlled and I would describe it as crisp and toneful. As a bassist myself, I can tell immediately that the bass was strung with round-wound strings. They seem comfortable to wear, but more time spent with them will be the real test. I'll update you in a little while. First impressions are that they are good headphones, especially for the price. I've had a few pairs in the past from some of the main brands like Sennheiser and Shure etc and these are the best yet.
