So many of the recipe books available on Kindle are based on American measurements and ingredients. These measuring cups will be a great help.Thank you to people who replied to questions about Australian/American/UK cup sizes. I hope to get some accurate measuring spoons so I can reduce the cup contents to get accurate amounts but surely a try out of a recipe would reveal too much wetness or too much absorbance i.e. too much flour.I have a VonShof set of cups I was given by someone and I'll be able to compare amounts the different cups hold.I found an old chain off a Tupperware set that has on its end a little boat shaped thing that you fit the end bobble in. I changed this for the metal ring and because the chain is flexible the cups will nest in each other.

Love these. Good quality and look pretty as well. The only slight niggle is that it would be easier to clean them if they were easier to release from the retaining ring. If you could take each one off easier it would mean that you would only use that one and wash it rather than having to wash them all each time.

Since I bake in North America now and my relatives bake in the UK we had a slight problem getting some recipes to work for both of us...not any more!!!

I bought these to help me manage portion sizes better for things such as rice / oats as I’m trying to be more aware of how much I eat. These are great. I like the fact that they tell you how many ml on the handle of each one and they stack away nicely. Only thing I would say is the ring that attaches them all is irritating more than anything else it gets in the way, however this can be removed as shown in the photo. Good quality product, I’m not convinced it’s dishwasher proof though so do hand wash.

Purchased these to make American Recipes easier to make. The Cups are well made with riveted handles with a Silicone covered end. The are attached to a ring, which is easy to open and close, which makes handling the cups easier, but keeps them altogether during storage. I have now found a further use for the Cups. The 1/2 cup correspond to 3 ounces of Rice, with the 1/3 cup 2 ounces, which save having to use scales. No doubt you will find similar use for other cups. Would recommend them to anyone looking for similar items.

I think I will be able to keep these forever. they are good quality. For me, the most important that they are not toxic as they are made of steel

Many modern recipes require cups of ingredients but what is a cup? This set gives you many sizes and in practice the end results are right.
