RING Rapid Digital Tyre Inflator for Motorhomes & SUVs

Absolutely brilliant, I bought this because I was forever putting pound coins into air pressure machines at garages only to find they are out of order. Got a slow puncture last week and tried this RING Inflator for the first time, simple to use just set your psi and hit the button and it inflates the tyre in no time and stops its self when it gets to the set pressure. Worth every penny.

Being a mobile mechanic I use this item ALOT, Iv had this since 2017 and I think it maybe starting to fail on me but works great just a little noisier than when new like the motors on its way out but would 100% buy again, pumps van tyres with ease, can do all four van tyres with no issue of overheating etc, power and speed is awesome and the noise of the motor isn’t that bad compared to others Iv used previously

I was looking for a decent but relatively compact inflator for my 4x4 and caravanning needs. The problem with most similar and larger units is that they are so heavy on current, that they have to be connected directly to the vehicles battery. While this will work from a cigar lighter socket. Howeve,r this unit does push this type of socket to the limit and luckily my cars socket can cope with it’s 15 Amp current draw! But be aware, many such sockets are only able to supply 10 Amps or even less and they just will not work this unit! Because of this serious “Achilles heel”, it would have been better had the unit also came with an adapter to allow direct connection to the battery as an alternative. Which is something, I will be seeking to add to mine. The unit itself is very solid and well designed. The tailored storage bag holds it all together, while still keeping the unit as compact as possible. The air line and power lead wraps around neatly and even having a “parking” place for the power lead’s plug underneath. The switches on it, are large and feel sturdy when operated. The fitted LED light is actually quite useful. Setting the desired inflation pressure is done using a small yellow dial-come-button, which you turn to select and press to set - both the scale, then the target pressure. The scale is shown in the bottom right of the large illuminating numeric display, the chosen preset value is displayed in the top section while the current actual pressure, is displayed in very large characters in the main display area. I checked the resultant tyre pressures with a calibrated pressure gauge and found the displayed reading to be quite accurate. The unit is relatively quiet in operation and the two air cooled pump cylinders are assisted with electric cooling fans, which also appears to considerably increase the maximum continuous run-time to 30 mins (Most unit’s appear to be rated at less than half this time!). Which is very welcome, especially when dealing with 4x4 tyres. It is also noticeably quicker to do it’s job, while not up to forecourt speeds, there is however, a clear improvement over standard 12V inflators. If I bring the inflator out for one I will usually do both cars together. Unit has a nice heavy feel to it, with a decent length, so no problems for cars. I initially used this seperate pressure guage but now confident enough with the unit that I just use the inflator. Its not too noisy, about the same loud hum as with most of these types of inflators - this has an extra whine to it, which first caused me concern until i realised its just the dual fans on top. It has the screw type attachement which does release a tiny amount of pressure when removing or attaching, but has been easier to use than past inflators with this type of attachment. Overall a joy to use.

Looked and felt like quality and pumped for 60 seconds to 72PSI until it just stopped and sat there whining. I was hoping this was my "forever" pump but this failure has left me feeling rather deflated.

At last a tyre inflator that can do Campervan tyres. I have purchased 3 tyre inflators over the last month and returning them after they were unable to inflate my Campervan tyres to 55psi. They were all returned but this one did the job. Only down side is the cigarette lighter cable is to short so I bought an extension cable for £7 which does the job.another benefit of this inflator is that it has a straight tyre connector rather than the ones where you lock it at right angles. This means I can inflate the tyres without taking off the wheel trim which I would normally need to do. So it’s a yes from me.

Works well at inflating tyres. However it cuts out long before the tyre is properly inflated. The trick to outwit the daft machine is to increase the target pressure Not ideal though, and takes a bit of experimenting to get the right number

As described, much quieter than expected and quickly had my motorhome tyres back up to pressure.

I am happy with the purchase. I have quite a lot of equipment that needs to be inflated often (bikes, trolley for the kids, van air suspension and tyres etc. This ring rac830 will inflate a bike tyre in under 15 seconds, and it brought the air suspension from 2 to 3.5 bar in no time, 10 seconds maybe? I think it works great, but it was a bit expensive compared to other markets, still worth the extra money.

Non mi è piaciuto ricevere il prodotto nella confezione originale senza un seconda scatola di cartone che avrebbe protetto meglio il compressore rendendo anonimo il contenuto e consentendo visivamente eventuali segni di apertura. Inspiegabilmente il nastro adesivo, posto sul coperchio,era tagliato anche se il contenuto era integro. Ho acceso brevemente il compressore che si è avviato regolarmente ripromettendomi di verificare successivamente il funzionamento. La nota positiva è stata ricevere anticipatamente il pacco rispetto alla data prevista. Infine ho notato che gli articoli precedenti avevano tutti un secondo involucro direi indispensabile per i motivi suddetti. Saluti

Works great, inflats quick. Only issue is in 2 cars ive used it on it blows the fuse in car. Would be better if it powered directly from car battery

Me ha parecido muy buen producto, hasta el momento infla perfectamente , no hace mucho ruido es bastante silencioso para otoscque he tenido, infla rapido y para a la presion que has indicado prebiamente,

Hat mehrere Jahre gute Dienste geleistet. Pump Autoreifen, Fahrrad und auch Sup auf. Leider mit Autoreifen über Schlauch gefahren und Anschluss zerstört 🤦‍♂️. Gerät zu empfehlen.
