High quality, very bright torch. Multiple power modes for battery saving, but even 10 hrs at full power will get through the night shift. Low power is adequate for indoor use. AA batteries are very easy to obtain as they are sold everywhere. Belt pouch and alkaline batteries included. Rechargeable batteries also work fine in this torch. Only thing missing is there is no lanyard, but there is a metal lanyard hole in the tail and you can buy lanyards from Amazon.

Great buy, good quality, good price. Very handy to have around with you, especially traveling Africa. Great for when power goes off, or trying to fix things in dark places. Small, Light, different colour options, different light settings etc... need I say more. Great to have around the house or buy as gifts. For the lads and ladies

Bought this for my 13year old son as he wanted a wee torch. This is smart, reasonably lightweight and nice and bright.

Anyone have any idea why re-chargeables are not recommended for this torch please?
Loving this so far, although I bought it for my 8 year old to take to cub camp and he managed to disassemble it and thought it was broken...Anyhow - it's not broken at all, it's working fine. Does anyone have any idea why I shouldn't use re-chargeable batteries with it? The package says not but it operates OK when I stuck some in...
