It's made the shifts smoother but also added some general vibration/roughness feeling when driving, any idea why?

have you just added additiv to existing oil or you made oil change as well? we always reccomend to add additive when change oil and we reccomend to use quality oil as if gearbox oil will be poor quality additive will not help it
