Liqui Moly LM 5153 Pro-Line Fuel injection Cleaner 500 ml

Put this in my Audi s5 4.2 V8, Very impressed!!! I recommend putting the full 500ml in a half full tank, it should be fine as long as you have more than 25 litres of petrol in your tank, drive the car with a mix of spirited accelerations & normal driving for 40 mins and top off your tank and you will feel the difference. I was having issues with engine stalling rough idling & lack of performance, I expected that I would have to replace my injectors so I just tried this stuff to see if it made a difference, the car now runs buttery smooth, no more stalling at idle the car accelerates way faster and it completely got rid of any hesitation! And the Audi V8’s are known for carbon buildup! Yet again an amazing product from Liquimoly, been using their oil for years so I knew this would work great!

Emptied into the fuel tank then filled it. Definitely noticed the idle smoothed out after driving the car for around 2 hours and about 110 miles driven with no stops. So far I think it has cleaned something, be that the injectors or whatever else, it has made a difference. Also feel the acceleration has been a bit better, possibly due to the injectors being cleaned of gum, better spray pattern.

I used to use the non-proline injector additives, only realized that that have more of lubricants effect than hard cleaning. After using the proline: 1) full tank of fuel + proline 2) run to half tank fuel, then top to full tank normally 3) complete the full tank of fuel I felt the engine wasn’t running smooth comparing to the standard injector additive, and I do feel the engine runs very hard at phase 1) and 2). Fuel economy wise has little change. Making sure do 1) and 2) when you are travelling long distances on highway, I did at least 150miles at 60-70 motorway After the proline is completely clean up from my fuel tank, I still feel the car runs much smoother than before. Without technically inspecting, I think there are some improvements. With the standard injector cleaner (none-proline), I get the reverse effect: with the additive the car runs smooth, without it runs very rough…. This makes me think the proline product is mainly focusing on cleaning the engine and removing carbon, where standard injector additives is used for lubricanting after hard cleaning with this product. Very expensive, but it seems to be worth it - once every 5000 miles.

So far so good. My car is kept well-maintained so I'm using this as a preventative measure for injector health rather than waiting until something's wrong. I'm planning on adding one can per year.

Der Liqui Moly Pro -Line -System Reiniger ist super. Das Motor läuft nach 300 km viel ruhiger und das ansprechen am Gaspedal ist merklich besser. Fahre viel Kurzstrecken. Au jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen. Super Produkt wie alles von Liqui Moly Danke weiter so. LG

Very good, but he cleaned well and got the dirt all the way to the catalytic converter...but it's good.

J’ai utilisé ce Liqui Moly 5153 Pro-Line sur ma C4 Picasso qui commençait à avoir quelques petits à-coups et un fonctionnement moins fluide qu’avant. Après application du produit, j’ai rapidement senti une différence. Le moteur est devenu plus souple, plus régulier, avec moins d’hésitations à l’accélération. Le ralenti est aussi plus stable. Franchement, je ne m’attendais pas à un résultat aussi visible. Produit simple à utiliser et vraiment efficace. Très satisfait, je recommande pour redonner un coup de propre au système d’injection.
