A very nice piece overall, it arrives well packed in its own presentation box and is of a heavy cast metal construction, and I wouldn`t hazard a guess exactly what metal is used but it does give the impression of bronze, probably electro-plated, but done well. Its novel in that you can burn drilled incense `cones` over a strategically placed hole in the sculpture so that the vapor flows from the burning cone over the sculpture and gives the impression of mist. I`d suggest you purchase additional cones of good quality scented incense to use with it , as although ten cones are provided, they are pretty fragrance free, and appear to be just pressed wood chippings. If you do use ordinary cones, remember to drill a small hole in each ones base or the effect won`t work.

This thing is so cool! It was bought as a gift, and the recipient was incredibly happy with it! It's really good looking, and has a decent weight to it as well, which adds to the quality feel of it. When you first light the cone it can take a little while to get going, but once it does it's so impressive! The way the smoke flows out of its mouth is actually quite mesmerising, and everyone who's seen it has said the same. Not only that, but the burner comes in a really neat looking box (which I can almost guarantee you will keep) AND a 10 pack of burner cones come with it as well! Very very pleased with this product, and if you're already here looking at it, i would recommend buying it. Just remember to also either use an incense stick (which you can place to the left of the dragon) OR a scented backflow burner cone, because the smoke from the cones provided CAN be a little overpowering. I wouldn't let that put you off though, such a small thing doesn't retract in any way from how good this thing is.

Beautiful little incense burner - was pleasantly surprised to find out it is very sturdy, and it looks beautiful. It is slightly small as others have pointed out, but it is a decent size still and doesn't look out of place. The incense cones work surprisingly well. Light one and the smoke does come out through the nostrils and pools in the bowl - however beware moving/vaguely twitching. Any movement or breeze is enough to upset it and the smoke will vanish, but that's really a problem with the laws of nature than this specific product. The smell works nicely too - spreads further through the room than I'd have thought, and has a pleasant aroma. There is also a small hole with which to use existing incense sticks should you want to. Cleaning is a bit messy - typical incense problem of the leftovers, but as it's got a hole to fall on you do have to put more effort in that you otherwise would have. All in all, very happy. Works well, looks lovely, smells nice, and isn't expensive.

This came beautifully packaged and is really nice. It was for a hippie themed bedroom and it’s perfect. It sits on a little mat that comes with it and works really well. Can’t fault. It comes with a pack of cones which don’t smell great at all but that’s no big deal as they’re cheap enough to buy so that wouldn’t put me off at all.

I wasn't sure about buying this at first but I'm so glad I did! I bought it as a present for a friend and he loves it! The dragon is ceramic and feels quite heavy and good quality. I read that some people didn't like the scent of the cones but we thought it was quite neutral and pleasant - not too strong. You light the cone at the top and it burns for about 10 minutes. The smoke as it pours from the mouth of the dragon is mesmerising and the box it arrives in is gorgeous and expensive looking. I will definitely be buying more as Christmas presents and one for myself. Great value item, glad I found it

Item arrived undamaged. and looks ok for the price. It is hit and miss if it works as stated, which is probably down to the backflow incense you use. The first one I bought, Smoke, did not go through the mouth. I noticed there was no visible hole in the mouth, so I stupidly tried to drill one, which consequently broke, so I bought another one. This one worked slightly. It does depend on the incense used and also on having no draughts near it. Would I buy again? No, I would not.

I’m really pleased with this, it came in a lovely presentation box and would make a beautiful gift. It looks great with the smoke coming out of the dragons mouth and the incense stick smell good. It even comes with a pretty round mat for it to sit on.

I'm not even that upset over the slight lack of detail, the overall look was lovely - and with all the reviews here, I thought it'd be perfect. Sadly, there were two big things wrong with my product. First, the stick holder was vertical (whereas the images made it appear more tilted over the basin, ideal for catching the falling ash), which meant those ashes would fall outside instead. Okay, but the backflow is still great right? No, it doesn't exist. There's an entry hole on the head but no exit hole in the mouth - where the smoke is meant to flow, the whole point of this product. I even stuck an incense stick through to test for an exit point fo any kind and found nothing. To sum up, mine was defective to the point where the intended purpose is not present. If there's a way to replace this with a functioning one that'd be ideal.

Le dragon fonctionne très bien: non seulement il crache la fumée, qui descend jusque dans le bassin, si vous utilisez des cônes d'encens à reflux (attention: les cônes normaux crachent leur fumée vers le haut et ne feront donc pas la fontaine), mais il a en plus un porte encens pour ceux qui, comme moi, préfèrent les bâtons d'encens (votre bâton sera alors incliné, et toutes les cendres tomberont dans le bassin au pied du dragon). Je l'utilise donc comme un excellent porte-encens: joli, il fonctionne avec toutes les épaisseurs de bâton, et il est assez grand pour qu'aucune cendre ne tombe à côté (j'ai laissé un cône à reflux à la sauge bleue - acheté en plus - au-dessus du trou pour la fontaine pour éviter que de la cendre tombe dedans). Il peut même servir de cendrier parfumant. De plus, il se lave très facilement. Et tout est inclus: un petit napperon pour protéger la table (pour ceux qui utilisent la fontaine), ainsi que des bâtonnets et des cônes à reflux (même si, personnellement, j'ai trouvé qu'ils ne sentent pas très bons, ils permettent de tester votre dragon). Enfin, sa taille est parfaite (un disque de 16cm de diamètre à sa base, une hauteur de 15cm). Et il se transporte et se lave facilement en le tenant par le cou. Il est entièrement noir, ce qui satisfera la plupart (j'aurais préféré avec des couleurs, dans les tons bleu-violet, mais noir, ça rend très bien aussi, et ça invisibilise les traces de suie). Bref, je suis amoureux de mon dragon. Apparemment, les défauts de fabrication ont été corrigés, et il arrive très bien protégé, à l'intérieur d'une boîte en carton sobre et très solide. Ce dragon mérite maintenant une note de 4.8, plutôt que ses 4.1 actuels.
