Excellent quality
Fantastic quality needles to knit in the round. Created a wonderful jumper no seams!

Great
I’ve only recently switched to using Knit Pro needles and needed an additional cable. They are really good quality and really flexible so don’t twist in that rather irritating way thicker cables do. It’ll be Knit Pro all the way for me in future.

Great knitting option
I love knitpro products. They are easy on the hands especially if you’re arthritic. The cables are very easy to use and changing needles is a breeze. Love them.

A note for the unwary - check the actual length!
Nothing wrong with the product or description, as it clearly states it's a 20cm cable TO MAKE 40cm interchangeable needle, but I was in a hurry to start a project and didn't read it properly! So I thought I was getting a 40cm cable. I'll keep it because it will be useful for much smaller projects, but I will need to buy the short needles to go with it, as the usual size ones are too long and won't meet to knit with. My own fault, but I may not be the only person to mis-read the details...

The best knitting tools ever
Knit pro's symphonie needles and cables are a genius of design and these interchangeable cables, which screw onto the knitting needles, enable you to knit any sized project with the same pair of knitting needles. However, it is worth noting that the length of the cable is actually determined by the knitting needles - so a 40cm cable is the length of the cable with the needles attached. This is actually important if knitting in the round as too large a cable will stretch and mis-shape the knitting.

Very good product for the price
I did find for the crochet product I'm working on that the wire does sometimes unscrew itself but it's easily adjusted as long as you keep and eye on it. The tightening key is not applicable to the type of crochet needle I've attached so this is why the wire unscrew as I crochet. I think with knitting needle attachments this might not be the case. I find the screw on plugs very useful for holding the stitches on to the wire especially if I want to use my crochet needle for another project. For the price I think this is a good product as does what I want it to do.

This screw -in cable is ruining my project
It is a long time since I used a circular needle so my review is based on my current personal experience.I purchased this product as I had found a particularly nice pattern of a dog sweater for my Shih Tzu which started knitting at the neck on a circular needle!! I particularly liked the idea of being able to interchange needles and cable. I thought it would be much easier to use when the pattern changed needle size - being able to interchange without using a different cable. However, remembering I haven’t used a circular needle for a long time I have not found it easy to use and it is slow going. The main issue has been that the wool keeps catching on the needle where the cable and needle screw together. Which means that I have had to keep unscrewing the cable to release the wool. This is not only damaging the wool but becomes very frustrating - constantly having to stop and sort it out. So much so that I cannot get on with the garment and have thrown it down in frustration several times. This has also caused me to drop stitches and have to undo and repeat re-knitting a number of times. Tightening the needle and cable together makes it an even longer and more difficult job to separate when the wool has caught.Maybe I just have a faulty cable or needle - I don’t know - but it seems that I may have to buy another circular needle which does not have a separate cable, in order to continue with my project.Would I recommend - love the idea but not on my current experience. Cannot say it’s easy r comfortable to use in my current experience and therefore does not make it value for money.

More like 50cm on Knitpro Zing needles
Knitpro do amazing products and this wire is sturdy and fits the Knitpro Zing needles. Just a heads up that this wire says it's 20cm to make 40cm needles with cable but on the Knitpro Zing interchangeable needles it's more of 50cm due to the needles being quite long. Other than that it's good value.
