Excellent little speaker
I spent some time looking at various Bluetooth speakers in the cheaper price bracket and eventually settled on this one and I don't regret it. Some reviews say that the price is too high but I suspect that was when it was at a higher price point of £50, now at £39 it is a bargain. It is very easy to get going each time, the sound quality is very good just lacking a touch of bass and the volume is excellent for such a small speaker, it will easily fill a room. I haven't got a 2nd speaker so can't comment on pairing 2 speakers. Overall a very very good Bluetooth speaker for those looking for a cheaper option.

Good stuff, small packages...
When I received the package, it was quite a large box with a reasonable weight. Once I opened it, the cube within was really quite small, roughly 2 inches per side. I was somewhat disappointed as I was expecting some a little more substantial. However, as with so many Sony products, I needn't have worried; the noise that comes out of little cube belies its dimensions. Crisp, clear sound, excellent base and treble contrast (although they can't be altered) and very good volume. The instruction booklet, of which there are many in varying languages, is simple and easy to understand, even for an old technophobe like me! As to the longevity of this product, I can't say as I only received it today, but having purchased many Sony products in the past, it is not something that concerns me. Would I recommend this product? Yes, whole heartedly.

Being a Sony product the build quality is very good. However the sound quality is not as good
Being a Sony product the build quality is very good. However the sound quality is not as good, it's just ok. A bit tinny. It's very easy to use, I paired it to my HTC instantly. Still can't pair it to my wife's Samsung though. It's smaller than I thought it would be too. Overall I like this product for the price I paid but I can't help feeling there's a better one out there if I had of spent a bit more time looking.

NFC chip works great. Price seems reasonable
God sound quality. Not much you can expect from a speaker of this size. Really fast and responsive when connecting. NFC chip works great. Price seems reasonable. Overall good product

Excellent wireless speaker
This is the second of these that I've bought (as gifts), as it is so good. Sound quality is very good, volume is excellent and it is very well made, as you would expect from Sony. It is very easy to use and connects with devices immediately. Charges well and the charge lasts a good time. Good colours, too - I love the red.

Good Little Speaker
Good sound quality from a small compact Bluetooth speaker. Good value for money. Great for use in kitchen, bedroom etc. Even sounds good outdoors on the patio table. Wouldn't recommend as a 'main use' speaker system or as a substitute for hifi. Good battery life between recharges.

Very nice.
I use this almost exclusively for speech (Radio 4) & it's very clear. The NFC feature is super convenient; I don't need to switch on Bluetooth on my phone, I just briefly lay it on the speaker and bingo, Bluetooth enabled & connected. Charging is easy & the battery life seems great.

A genuine pleasure, trust me I'm an Engineer 😜
If you're an engineer, then you must be desperate, and out of money too, and still looking at this product, because you know you want it, you love how it looks, you love the way it will make you feel when you have it in your hand, and trust me, I'm that engineer, and I somehow bought this product, with jugaad, and extensive in depth research. Now lets talk about the product itself, it's pricey, yes, Sony products are always over priced, but you also know that the quality is top notch. I'm not going to state each and every detail specification, that you can find it on its official page or Google, I'm here to distinguish this product from others at the same price range. I looked at hundreds of products ranging from Cheap China speakers to the high end Bose and JBL, but at the price range of ₹3000-₹4000 currently, you have only 2 options, either JBL Clip 2, or this Sony SRS X11. Surely, JBL Clip 2 has a few advantage here, being a little cheaper and water resistant. But wait, there is more... Sony, my friend, here, has better technical advantages over JBL. The SRS X11 is a 10W audio output with 2 passive radiators, JBL has single front firing 3W output speaker. I am not saying JBL is less loud or has less clarity, no, it's perfect too, but I'd choose 2 miniature subwoofers at both sides for the extra bass and boom which the SRS X11 provides. Another thing you'll love is the way it looks and feels in your hand, JBL Clip 2 feels like a tech and placid speaker with a clip at the top which cannot be removed, but the SRS X11 feels more like a toy and you'll wish to take it in your hand again and again every time you look at it. Plus you get a variety of colour choices, I took a white one and it fits perfectly with my surroundings. You also have the NFC pairing for quick connectivity on the SRS X11, and an option to add/pair another speaker for a Dual L&R speaker setup for a stereo surround sound effect, none of these features available by any other product. Now, people might think, why am I not comparing with Logitech or Zook or Phillips, and that they have better technical speakers at cheaper price range, for them, my answer is, I've tried them all, and you can bet, you won't find any product with such a compact size which JBL Clip 2 or SRS X11 provides, there is something called as QUALITY over QUANTITY. Higher and bigger Watt output doesn't mean better sound clarity. Now lets talk about cons, and let's be honest, you are searching for a portable speaker which fits your pocket/carry bag, is durable, and has good battery life, and yet provide an ample sound for you to enjoy. Pick up any portable speaker and if cranked up at top volume, there will be some distortion, a little bit yes, doesn't matter which product it is, it's a small speaker, deal with it, tone down the volume by 1-2 and you'll still have the same effect and loudness. There are lots of factors that come in play in such a case, that is the type of audio file you are playing, the surrounding, wind, battery life etc, but overall, Sony and JBL come neck in neck in quality. In short, Go for Sony, if you want a little more Boom and Bass, a 12 hour battery life, and a future proof dual speaker setup, but if you're very money tight, dont care about looks and feel, and want water resistance go for JBL Clip 2.

Very nice litte speaker
I was flirting this speaker for so long, and when I saw the prices falling here in amazon.de, I just made the move! Its small enought to put in a womens bag, the design is very pleasant, the surfaces are smooth, and I like it! :) Battery is good for such a small device, and I think with the correct weight. You have 4 buttons: turn on/sync, take phone calls, +/- for the volume. Also have an audio in, and the usb entrance to charge the battery. The sound is good enought for such a small speaker. Have some nice bass on it! The trebble is also there, however, depending on the device/software, sometimes it needs to be tuned with some equalizer, to hit the sweet spot. It is loud enought for the size. Also with NFC/bluetooth and the fantastic option of pairing two of this ones toguether in a stereo combo, i think its perfect. Unless you think you can get another speaker for the same size/weight, with more battery, waterproof, and better sound, I would go for this one. PS: arrived fast and in perfect shape

Decent product
Looks wise it's cute. Has rubberized finish (which comes out on rubbing) Sound is loud enough for one room. Free from any distortion. There is no base. Sound has a mono quality. Battery back up is good 12 hours at max volume. Nice and bluetooth pairing is seamless. No buttons for play pause and for changing the track. Aur input is there. It's cute and portable but don't expect it to replace your home audio system. It's main pro is hassle-free use for enjoying music by one person in a place with low background noise. Hope this helped.
